Re: A final Destination 3!
yeah and its gonna be in 3D..at least in the states..
Number 2 is close to a slasher masterpiece...I look at these movies as slashers.... |
ehh, I wouldnt call 'em slashers at all. there no on doing the slashing!
love the scene in the 2nd one with the ladder through the eye. absolutley genius. |

either way the 2nd one was a heap of fun ..one of the 2 films that made me excited about 'gross horror' in the last few years.
(The other was The Story of Ricky) i hope the same writer/director of #2 is responsible for #3 |
I liked the first 2 so hopefully the third will be just as good. I can't wait for it to come out.

3-D!!! holy bananas!
|
This sounds promising...
I enjoyed the first two because they both had pretty original scripts with great kill scenes. The log through the windshield was my favorite one though, followed by the sheet of glass falling on that kid. Both of those would have probably been enought to make the audience shit their pants in the theatre if they were in 3D. The best kill in the first one is that girl stepping out in front of the bus. (Might not have been any better in 3D though because you dont even see the bus until its too late.) |

I also like the first two, so I will look forward to this. There really were some great death scenes. I think both the airplane crash and the car crash were done very well. And the second movie had a more "playful" feel than the first one, I think, and was even more entertaining than the first.
|
Hopefully this is the last, and they better bring some new ideas in to it.
The first two were suprisingly good. First look at the cover would say its just another lame stupid slasher, but they kind of have something about them that makes them decent. |
I wish this one would hurry up and get here...
I thought both Final Destinations were equally good...But, the first one was slightly better because it was a new concept...Still the kills in BOTH movies are very original and good...Final Destination 2 is one of the few sequels that holds up to the original and doesn't let you down |
I thought both of em kicked ass. I would watch a third..
|
I wasn't a fan of the second one, it was too campy and goofy. The first one was good until it basically turned into a teen knock-em-off one by one movie. Good premise, they need to turn it back into a supernatural thriller for the third one.
|
It should be good.

3-D sounds like fun!
I love 3-D movies....if it was cheaper to go to movies, Id probablty go to Shark Boy and Lava Girl just for the 3-D...but I aint wasting 7.50 on it.... |

the glasses are generally shitty and ill fitting .. and you have to sit dead centre for the effects to be good .. |
I've known bout this movie for awhile (not the 3D part, though) and have been excited since. I loved the first two and have been drooling since I heard about a third one in the makes. Sure, I'm not the biggest fan of sequels, but FD is doin' great with their sequels. Keep em comin'. BTW, I heard the premonition in the beginning of this flick is set on a rollercoaster at an amusement park. Sounds f'n awesome! I can't wait!

i enjoyed viewing the first 2 and i hope to see this one as well. i will not be wearing the #D glasses. i think it obscures your vision. I see better with them off.
|
rollercoaster in 3-d?? reminds me of "The House On Haunted Hill (1999)" scene with the rollercoaster. Is the 3-d just for that rollercoaster scene or is it for a buncha scenes?
$7.50 for a movie? In NY, that was like 10 years ago... I paid $9.75 to see LOTD yesterday.... I swear they raise it like a quarter every time i go.... Then they wonder why people arent going to the theatres like they used to. |
