The coolest thing...
 

Yep, saw these at a petshop today.
They're called mudskippers for anyone that doesn't know...very easy to keep, just in a tank with SOME water, and some rocks to climb around on.
Theyre kinda these semi-amphibian "kind of" fish. they move around very fast, are quite human friendly, and their flippers are kinda like feet...kinda.
They can jump around, and stick to the walls of the tank too...
Not only do they have gills, but also lungs as well...they can breathe in or out of water.
Yup, I think theyre cool, I'm gonna get me a couple of these.

Theyre so cool....they eat goldfish for breakfast!

Haunted...yes, apparently they'll jump onto your hand, and aren't scared of contact with humans or anything.

Marroe...yeah, I love the doggyface (flying fox in laymans terms), they're like what bats would be if they weren't quite so crazy, ugly, and were more human friendly. They're very cool...there's a big park over here in the middle of sydney city that's full of HUGE colonies of them, as is our botanical gardens.

LBM - I've only seen them here once (yesterday), and they were charging $15AUD a peice (roughly ?$11? USD), they're not very easily found YET, but I hope that will change.

Yup, I'm definately getting a few, theyre so funny to watch, they have high-speed chases with eachother...

this whole thread is a bit of an odd coincidence because a week or so ago on our last zoo visit (we've had annual memberships since out son was born) we saw a tank with some mudskippers for the 1st time ..

they are pretty goofy looking in a cool way..
