....... come on, that game is recent. So its not really a classic. That means your favorite game of all time is whatever you're playing a lot at the moment.

Thrasher
Pride
UFC - dreamcast
Secret of Mana
FALLOUT
and FALLOUT 2

I have the best games

ShankS 04-15-2005 11:44 PM

Original Dooms... I have the jDoom versions installed, slightly updated graphics and added options for Doom 1 & 2.
Also looking forward to the release of Classic Doom on the Doom 3 Engine, that'll be cool.

Hexen, awesome game but don't have it installed because it wont work now..... but a Hexen Mod is being developed using the Doom 3 Engine, so this is going to be a serious looking upgrade to the game.

Undying, by Clive barker, was a superb game and very atomspheric. Probably the only other game to make me jump out of my skin, along with Doom 3.

Counter Strike... been playing it since the beginning. Had it's good and bad updates thorughout the versions. I'd have to say CS was at it's Prime during Version 1.3. From then on there was never another release on par with this version. Don't play 1.6 much now, Source is where it's at now.

i agree with dante and chainsaw.. nothing like using the M63 and hiolding the square down and listen to him going Rambo on the pains punk ass.. orr going predator on the fear with the termal goggles, blowing the fury with a shotgun. sniping the end or kicking any other bosses ass

Sedated_replica 04-16-2005 09:41 PM

maybe whats your favorite game of all time???

Sedated_replica 04-17-2005 02:01 PM

I guess Fallout 2 for the PC

dodge50 04-18-2005 03:32 PM

Silent Hill on the PS1.

It was a game that introduced me to survival horror games. I would love to see a re-vamped version for the PS2, with better graphics and an extended story it would be awsome. The mini monsters in the school were one of the best I've seen. You could hear them and they would just come out of nowhere with their huge claw like hands, edge of the seat stuff. I own the other four in the series (I include the directors cut version of 2) and I am looking forward to 5 (the last in the series). However, my mind always returns to my first visit to that quiet (eerie) lakeside town. I keep a dusty old PS1 just to stroll down the foggy streets of silent hill every once in a while.

ChEEbA 04-18-2005 03:45 PM

There are three, I cannot place them in order...

Flashback: The quest for identity
Half-life 1
Max Payne 1

When I look at those, it must be about storyline, I love them all.

Doom (Ultimate)
Shanks, try Zdoom, it gives a full 360 view, adds jumping, plus gives doom sparkly graphics

Quake
Half-life
Half-life 2
Lemmings

The Mothman 04-19-2005 11:20 AM

Half Life 2 takes the cake.

Call Of Duty: United Offensive is one of my favorite games out there now. I have not yet met a single person who can beat me in that game. (:

slasherman 05-03-2005 05:37 PM

Yes I have played "Yie are kung fu"(com 64), Half Life 2, Doom 3, Battlefield....and many more...but nothing compares to the feeling I got from this old Play Station 1 game......(havent played it in years).....

.....But "Roll Away"(aka Kula World)...is the best!

Sedated_replica 05-03-2005 11:49 PM

huh?

ChEEbA 05-03-2005 11:56 PM

Yie-Ar kung-fu was like tha grandaddy of streetfighter, right??
I think I played it on some cheap-ass generic home console.
Then there was another one like it that was more of a side scrolling beat-em up...maybe part 2?

Kula Word was the shit...crazy fucking game...messes with your perception just like descent and forsaken did.
Very cool, so yeah...SEDATED wouldn't know it, would he?

Yes and "The Way of the Exploding Fist" also a cool commodore 64 game...

and cool that you knew "Kula World"....not too many have played it...
and can you tell me about "Descent and Forsaken" ?.....is old ? which station(console)? pc ?

ChEEbA 05-04-2005 03:54 AM

Descent was a game with (I think) 3 installments.
I'm sure at least 2 of them were on ps1 also.
You were inside a vehicle...like a flying ship. You could choose multiple views as I recall, and basically, there were areas of the game that were like mazes, that went up, down, allover the place, and your ship could follow them in any direction, sometimes it was difficult to know whether or not you were travelling fowards, upwards, downwards or what...like, the perspective adjusted with you, but it was still pretty disorienting sometimes...but, like with kula world, the perspective made it cool.

Forsaken was basically the same deal, but underwater, with slightly more polished graphics than the first 2 descent games.
Similar idea, nice to look at, realistic "feel", and as I recall, great sound.
Also a ps1 game.

Both were also on pc.

the cooler thing about Resident Evil 4 is they stop using the zombie storyline and go into an infected village and you play as Leon from Resident Evil 2 (i think it was 2)
