Scenes that make you CRINGE?
 

any scenes in a movie that particularily stick out to you as painfull looking?
here Ill give some of mine..

The eyeball scene from Kill Bill Vol. 2
The Ripped-Out heart scene from Dead-Alive
The Snapping-Arm-In Half scene from Jason Goes To Hell

Equilibrium- When Preston snaps a guy's arm backwards over his knee.

Saw- Dr. Gordon started sawing his foot off and when they showed the guy going through the barbwire.

ooo, sounds nasty!
The Eye Gouging scene from Night Of The Demons was really groos, because the eye's basically explode. ugh.

The scene in Zombi when the girl gets pulled into the door splinter and it goes through her eye slooooowly

Audition, the last 15 minutes.

the first time i saw it ... the pencil in the ankle on Evil Dead

and the last five minutes of Requiem for a Dream.

THe scene in The Texas Chainsaw Massacre (Remake)
where the guy is being dragged down the stairs, and his fingernails are ripped off and imbedded into the wall. OW!!

in 28 days later, when the guy sticks his fingers in the guys eye sockets...and in psycho 2 when norman grabs the knife and closes his hand on it..ouch:eek:

ya that scene from 28 days later was NASTY!

I really only 'cringe' when I am watching something that I don't find any entertainment in. Stuff like...

The penis dismemberment in Cannibal Holocaust.
The rape scenes in Last House on the Left.
A nun getting raped with a crucifix in Bad Lieutenant.

That sorta stuff.

hell, that'd make me cringe...

The scene in" At Play in the Fields of the Lord" where Kathy Bates dances around naked........brrrrrrr......makes me shudder just thinking about it.

have you ever seen About Schmidt? she wasn't dancing but the same scarred for life situation.

haven't seen this yet and seriously contemplating not ever seeing it at the moment.

Texas Chainsaw massacre has a couple of scenes. Leatherface smacking the guy in the head with the sledge made me jump... it's just so fucking brutal. and later when he picks the girl up and SLAMS her down on the meat hook.


In the extended version of the Two Towers when Miranda Otto sings at her cousin's funeral.... I fucking hate random singing in movies, especially when the person singing cant carry a tune.

your talking about the remake right? ya that was pretty nasty. When the guy kept trying to get off of the hook, but kept falling back down on it, OW! and the girl had to stab him.

Nope, never saw the remake. Dont plan on it either.

ya, it wasnt good, but it was ten times more brutal than the original.

When the chick in Last House on the Left bit the guys penis off!!! That scene has bothered me since I saw it when it was originally released!

Not particulary painful, but one of the grossest i've seen is in Citizen Toxie when the Diaper mafia guy shits his diaper, with it running down his legs, then gets it ripped off of him and smashed in his face and he spits a turd out of his mouth! YYYUUUUUUUUCCCCKKKKKK!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

That part in LHOTL always bothered me....



Troma movies make me cringe.... All of them....

ins aw it made me cringe qwhen the guy was sawing his foot off.

dr. gordons foot surgury. last house on the left penis bite. beyond re-animator penis bite. the hook drop in TCM remake. the last 15 min of audition. the wrong turn half decapitation( in the trees when the anoying bitch gets her head cut of from the mouth up. ghost ship deck scene. ghost shit flash back. 13 ghost remake, when the lawyer gets sliced by the door. alien, the chest ripper sequence. shivers the shower scene. the jackle, the meatings splitting head ache( back talk equals hatchet the dead). day of the dead, when the half courpse gets off the slab. seven, any of the murders, but expecialy the lust one( can you say bladed strap on)

things that make you go eghhh.

In Saw when the Doctor cuts his foot off and in Hannibal when Hannibal is eating Ray Liotta's brains.

the one hellraiser where the guys is chained up and all the chains with hooks on the ends fly at him attaching all over his face and body strecthing his skin out .... ewwwww

the original texas chainsaw massacre when the chicks head is being held over the bucket and the old guy keeps trying to hit her on the head with the hammer and missing or dropping it. now that was cringemaking ..... no wonder she lost her mind..... thats anticipation to the extreme.

A movie thats not horror and I dislike quite a bit, but it had a part that made me cringe, or look away in disqust.

Once Upon a time in mexico.

The bastard killed Cheech Marin, and in this movie he only had one eye. he took off his eyepatch amd it showed his empty socket, it wa just gross, idk.

Splinter scene in "Zombie".

I was just about the post that. :p yeah, that is the only one I can think of.

It's pretty brutal. They slaughter live animals. (They actually kill real animals for this movie.) It's very fucked up and once you see it, you will never forget about it. Very disturbing. It's not horror. It is a straight up cannibal/exploitation film. I didn't really care for it or find it entertaining in the slightest. My fiance was absolutely repulsed and insisted on watching Finding Nemo immediately after watching it.

hellraiser bloodline, when the 2 twin security guards murge.

also in once apon a time in mexico, when johnny gets his eyes drilled out.

The scene in Cabin Fever where she is shaving her legs and the skin starts coming off, and on Pet Semetary where gage cuts that old mans ankle and then cuts him across the face. They are both DISGUSTING to me! :eek:

the "lipstick pushing" scene in Night Of The Demons was stupid, out of context, and nasty as well.

you have to see the movie to understand the "Lipstick pushing" lol.

Every female I know that has seen this movie, and that scene in particular, cringed big-time.

hey im not a female, but that still made me cringe majorly.
