AUSTIN316426808 03-15-2005 11:45 PM

I'm utterly retarded for forgetting this one...

Halloween

bwind22 03-16-2005 12:05 AM

Trainspotting has the best soundtrack of any movie in my opinion.

Aside from that, I tend to like Tarantino's soundtracks (as well as his method of selecting them. He just listens to all of his old records and picks out he songs he likes.) Reservoir Dogs, Pulp Fiction and Jackie Brown all have very good soundtracks.

Also, SLC Punk, Halloween and Batman.

Has anyone seen Truth or Dare? (The horror one not the Madonna one.) It has the corniest soundtrack ever.

you've obviously never seen the American Pie films. I'll admit I like most of the music in the films but good lord is it corny.

Uh no. You've obviously never seen Truth or Dare. If you had, you would not even consider bringing up any other options. ;) Also, if you haven't seen it... I highly recommend that you do. It's extremely low budget, but with a super bad acting and gaping plot holes, as well as the terrible soundtrack and plenty of bloody gore, it's definately good for a few laughs. Hard to find, but worth the rent if you do.

Gren the cake 03-16-2005 12:19 AM

pulp fiction soundtrack is excellent. i also liked the one of 'stand by me'. different type of mood, music.. but still very good

urgeok 03-16-2005 02:59 AM

you only live twice (john barry)
day of the dead
the party
midnight express
Pirates of the Carribean

there's a few more i cant think of - i wont be including any 'pops greatest hits' because i prefer origional scores

ShankS 03-16-2005 03:09 AM

the list could be endless..... but some off the top of my head are

Braveheart
Enemy At The Gates
Gladiator
Halloween
Lord Of The Rings
Old Boy
Pulp Fiction
Resovoir Dogs
Saving Private Ryan
Tenebrae
The Fog
The Thing

Batman

Vodstok 03-16-2005 04:00 AM

Batman (Tim Burton, score by Danny Elfman)
The Crow
Trainspotting
The Saint
Hackers

Vodstok 03-16-2005 04:08 AM

I have a severe prejudice against musicals.I happen to find goping from conversation into an "improvised" musical number completely stupid.

But then again, i am a cynic. i dont pretend it is the RIGHT attitude, just mine :)

urgeok 03-16-2005 06:23 AM

my fair lady is a great musical ... all the songs are fantastic too

LilMissScareAll 03-16-2005 07:35 AM

My favorite is Dee Snider's Strangeland soundtrack. I like most other horror movie soundtracks too though.

filmmaker2 03-16-2005 08:09 AM

"Phantasm," by Fred Myrow and Malcolm Seagrave. Utterly groundbreaking, if you'll excuse the pun. Sweet, sweet.

Vodstok 03-16-2005 08:29 AM

The actual score want all i had hoped, but the song "Sleep Now" by Hughes Hallfor the Dark City trailers was amazing.

ItsAlive75 03-16-2005 08:33 AM

The song in the Sin City trailer, "Cells" by The Servant, is friggin amazing...

ShankS 03-16-2005 08:37 AM

some of the overlooked asian films, from different genres, I've seen recently have a superb soundtrack.

Vodstok 03-16-2005 08:38 AM

Worst Soundtrack:
Last house on the left

I guess that's the exception, but the poor guy just does all his own music with this keyboard thing, and it's just weird...

Ever listened to the music in "They Live"?
Gugh....

IDrinkYourBlood 03-17-2005 05:36 PM

favorite soundtrack is Seperfly and Clerks

jay o2 waster 03-18-2005 01:19 AM

Anything Goblin did was amazing, suspiria mosly. But for a soundtrack it is defenitly david hess's work he did for last house on the left. and the road leadds to nowhere-

Amalthea 03-18-2005 01:26 AM

Blade 1
Gladiator
Gone In 60 Seconds

Vodstok 03-18-2005 05:21 AM
