i personaly am in a deep love with zombie movies. the holy trilogy(night, dawn, & day). hell i love all zombie movies.

i know alot are crap. i just cant help it i lovem all, and i do mean all of them. hell even black n white or forign.

i love every thing ZOMBIE, movies, toys, video games, etc.

so giv your opinion. feel free to spat off about your favs, or even diss on a few.

also any city of the dead info is welcome. or hell anything invoving the zombie god.

I hate 28 Days Later terrible movie. I fucking love Zombie movies they're probably my favorite subgenre of horror.

I've got this really funny compilation film called Zombiethon you should check it out it has some great clips of truely shit and truely brilliant zombie movies. Its basically based around a bunch of zombies watching zombie movies in a theatre. Great stuff!

Im am no longer the only one! I thought it was major shit...but did you watch the alternate endings? The one that they only had a storyboard for...if they'd used that, it may have been enough to pull it out of the gutter...

you just cant do a horific zombie film in the uk.

zombies are great, but I think its cheesy when they put a super uber zombie in a flick like in return of the living dead (the chick that got her wish zombie) and in children of the dead (the creepy old man criminal zombie who was burined the day the dead came back.) For some reason the make-up people always give them these crazy cheek bones.

I liked 28 days later, it introduced a new idea of zombie, the fast zombie.

the idea was cool, but the movie was an utter piece of flaming shit.

its a game that comes out in the next year or so.
i think ist for the ps2 and the xbox. there is a small artical in game informer. the mag is a couple months old, dec or jan i think.

this is a must get. remero is working on it with some of the rouge people from the resident evil series. remero himself quoted " its the goriest game ever.

there is another zombie game where your a zombie, i think its called, renegade with out a pulse. if you want info youll have to check recent game informer mags for both

correction, the 2nd game is called, "rebel without a pulse". it comes out this summer. for the article check the jan. 05 game informer pg. 78.

the remero game "city of the dead" is in a small article on pg. 24 of the oct. 04 issue. the article depicts a young female zombie holding a chainsaw and a womans severed head.

everyone needs to read The zombie survival guide.

I heard that's a real good book, but I can't find it anywhere (other than that internet thingamajob)

There's a handful of 'The Rising' too although it's slightly more expensive. They both look pretty cool, I might pick them up.

I love zombie movies but I just want to get one thing straight. I haven't seen Zombie yet and was interested in picking it up. One thing though, I was at Best Buy and saw Zombie special edition and Zombie 2 special edition. They had the same cover and explanation of the movie. One question though, what is the difference between the two. If there is no difference I'm going to p/u zombie 2 since there were a few more extras. Thanks for the help and try not to flame me for asking what may be considered a stupid question.

thanks for the help, I'm going to go out tmorrow and pick it up now. Just wanted to make sure so I didn't buy the same movie twice.

I think it has to do with where they were released. Something like this... the real first one only came out in Italy. It was called Zombi. The sequel to that is titled Zombi 2 in Italy and Zombie everywhere else (Because they can't have a part 2 if they never had a part 1.)

I could be off on some of that (and if I am zwoti will correct me.) but I believe that's the gist of it.

So yeah, it's the same movie. I'd go for the one with more features, but you might want to check the languages too because one might subtitled and one might be over-dubbed. :)


And p.s. I don't think that was a dumb question at all. It was actually far more intelligent than most of the dribble we get from day to day.

That's what my friend was telling me. also, if you watch the Trailers on the DOTD DVD the one from Italy and I believe Germany (if not all the European ones) call it "Zombi."

Alright I looked in to it and you guys are right. Zombi is the Italian version of Dawn of the Dead (directed by Romero).

Zombi 2 is the Italian sequel which was directed by Fulci.

Zombie is the American release of Zombi 2 by Fulci.
