I'm actually at this very second eating a chicken salad sandwich.
Home made chicken salad that i salvaged from the remains of last nights 'bubble chicken'

i put mine on a wrap but i guess it still counts ?

I hate chicken salad when the celery is bigger than the chicken. What was your recipe?

Now I hate tuna salad. I only like fish grilled or thuroughly washed (as in the case of sushi)

teeny tiny celery..
and teeny tiny carrot pieces

light mayonnaise ...


and thats it - i never made it before.


now i'm full and i feel like i wanna barf.


i know what you mean about the celery .. it really has to be small.

celery really only has 2 good uses ...

eaten raw with cheezewhizz inside the valley - with a bit of salt..

or when its made into celery salt - and used as rimmer on the glass of a bloody caesar.

What's a bloody caesar? Never heard of it.

yes! What I love about celery is that even when you put cheeze whiz in it, you can still lie to yourself about it being healthy. :D

they dont know abouth them in the US .. it seems to be a canadian thing ...

its a zesty spicier drink .. based on tomato juice but way better.

It's only cool because it looks like blood. If you lick a penny before you drink it, it tastes like blood too. :shiftyeyes:

Clamato does have clam juice in it. They used to have commercials for it in the US starring French Stewart (the weird little squinty-eyed guy on 3rd rock from the sun)

I prefer my bloody mary's with V-8. More flavor, and goddamn good for ya :)

Since you're all talking about alcoholic clam tomato drinks, I thought I would bring up the ingenious OYSTER SHOOTER again.

There are many recipes. The Japanese place down the street from me makes 'em with a raw oyster, a big shot of vodka to make ya happy, some sweetened soy sauce, some caviar, a tiny raw quail's egg, and two little sticks of carrot. All in a jumbo shot glass.

Don't knock it. It's got its own key.

Oh yeah: The oyster gets intoxicated after a few seconds of swimming in vodka. Probably.

It's an once of whiskey, an ounce of Amaretto, some pineapple juice, OJ and Grenadine, then shake it up with ice

1 shot Peach Schnapps
Cranberry juice

It's not bad at all...

My favorite mixed drinks:
Bloody Mary
Dry Vodka Martini
Jack Daniels with a couple of ice cubes

I used to love jack, til I realized that no matter what I mixed it with it tasted EXACTLY the same. And drinkin' it straight tasted like shit.

Except T-Birds. Those are good.

I kinda stick with Coors O' now. I always feel like I should be wearin' a Nascar cap when I say Coors O'.

Liquor makes me puke!:mad: ...the only time I can drink it is in an Ammaretto sour, or a Margarita.
I likes me some beer though.

I'm also in love with Jack Daniels... I'm drunk and shouldn't be posting, but I seem to be posting ok. :)

As am I...but heres an idea that is somewhat on the topic of mixed drinks for those of us here...

Get a blender. Dig through your fridge, find all the fruit jiuce you can. Get a couple different kinds of jam, plus maybe yougurt if you have any. Mix it all together, turns out awesome!!

So when do we pour the alcohol in?

I'm not wasting every juice in my fridge if I'm not gonna get drunk off it.
