Definetly London! In the Paris version they tried to hard to make the werewolves look real with the computer animation, which in turn made the werewolves look all the more fake! They should have just stuck with good ole makeup and prosthetics!! Also, just something about the London setting made the movie so eerie!!;)

AUSTIN316426808 02-22-2005 11:30 AM

London

better acting
better directing
better script
better story
better movie

Vodstok 02-22-2005 11:35 AM

I am just going to assume you were joking.

Paris was a joke.

my thoughts exactly.

I've only walked out of a handful of movies in my life and An American Werewolf in Paris was one of them.

London on the other hand has some of the best use of music ever put to film. To me, it's the definitive werewolf movie.

American Werewolf in London is such an amazing movie. Way better than Paris (which I also enjoyed)

filmmaker2 02-23-2005 06:18 PM

Did anyone here ever get to see "American Werewolf In London" projected when it came out? I have fond memories of this.

Oh, that was one seriously wild roller-coaster ride, back in the day.

The "sequel"--well, that had a couple of interesting effects shots I liked. But no comparison. The original flick was groundbreaking stuff.

lee challenger 02-25-2005 05:30 AM

There is absolutely no comparison to be made.
LONDON is one of the greatest horror movies ever made.
PARIS is just another throwaway cash in on a legend B movie.

Goths would win, but it would be close.

nerds would win ...
they'd just wait for the goths to kill themselves - unable to deal with the pain of being alive.

especially the ones that think they'll come back from the dead.

and then there are the ones that think they can fly - or stop traffic with their powers.

So most of the goths should be dead by the time the nerds stop arguing who is hotter .. Kim Possible, or Judy Jetson.
