Hahaha, no matter how bad they were together, the loss of anyones life gets to me. He was a great talent IMO.

My wife has a big heart too, but no one can hold a grudge like she can :D

i'm always amazed by how intimately people seem to know the personal life of these stars.

Doesn't amaze me at all, people just fall in love with the person's work and they just want to know more about them.

I personally could care less about what Jim Carrey,Clint Eastwood or any other of the stars that I like do in their personal lives.

my point was no matter what we see, read, etc .. even autobiographies ... unless you live with these people , you know absolutely nothing about them ..

we dont know what they do day to day, or what they think.

I get what you're saying now, we don't know the real person just what's put out by the media or even by the person themselves trying to keep a certain image.

for example Robin Williams reguardless of what we see and here might actually be sane.

the easiest example of this is to know somone - anyone - for years as a friend - or gf - or whatever ,... then live with them.
you soon find out that you knew nothing about that person.
I'm not saying ts always bad ... but there will be suprises.

most people dont even know themselves that well .. let alone some celebrity 1,000,000 lightyears away

They did something like that in the movie "About Last Night", where this couple move in together and just freak out because they start find things out about each other that they didn't know.

Not the main premise but it was still a cool little thing.

all i remember about that movie is how good Demi looked nude in the kitchen ...

This is so true, don't get me wrong I love my cousin and he's my best friend but I stayed with the guy for one summer and I had no Idea how aggravating he could be.

a hard thing to explain. She was breathtakingly beautiful ... in no way is that kind of beauty common.
Her movies were fun .. she had a sexy innocence ...
A lot had to do with the time and place ... it cant be reproduced today .. the climate has changed. We cant accept that kind of sexual naivity now .. it doesnt work.

i personally never follow any celebrity's off screen lives .. if i read a biography its because i want to read about what was going on when certain movies were being made - the process ... and that includes Monroe - i've read nothing about her.

All i can say is that seeing her on film .. whatever quality it is that she had .. it hits me in the heart....
Its easy to see why a large part of the world fell in love with her ...

I know what you mean, I have a friend who's a diehard Michael Jackson fan and he's always defending him, sometimes for no reason he just brings it up ''He said the reason he likes kids so much is because they'll never betray you'' yeah sure and the reason Hugh Hefner is a millionair, is because those articals are so well written.

All I meant was not to be so quick to judge. Meaning you did not know her so why jump to conclusions like that. I have read a lot about Marilyn, obviously I am a big fan and from what I have read I have come to believe that the way she was brought up can rectify some of her actions. She had that "Daddy wasn't around, and Momma was crazy" in her head. That can fuck up anybody, and make them yearn for attention. In her case, she got that attention from men.

Even though I never knew her personally, I can believe she was just a messed up individual. I would never be so quick to judge and call anyone a "slut", and I would defend anyone I knew the slightest about until I could prove otherwise. In this case no one will ever know for sure, but I have a pretty good idea that it all boils down to parental issues. That is something I know just a little about.
