Hm..nothing will be better then the original.
but I mean, the only thing related to the exorcist thats new that I've heard of so far was called the exorcist, but, it was about an african american boy who gets possesed and it had nothing to do with Captain Howdy....I think its based on whats happened before the girl got possesed in the original movie.
but yeah, i've never heard of another remake of the exorcist itself.

The excorcist: New Beginning was the story of Father Merrin's (Max Von Sydow in the original) first exorcist, which is referred to in the first movie. in the second movie, you find out that it was captain howdy, aka, pazuzu in both cases. In the second, the boy is ggrown up and played by James Earl Jones.

The Fog: Being remade by Carpenter, it was his idea
The Evil Dead: Remade by Tapert, Campbell and Raimi, their idea
Terror Train: first I've heard of it


remakes and sequels are just part of the genre. It's when they make a sequel to something like Stewart Little that upsets me. Hell, I still throw a nearby Coke can every time I hear about another Land Before Time movie

Ive ALWAYS hated those movies, even when I was in the intended age group. My god they were bad....I suffered through what musta been #574 with my cousins awhile ago....God damnit that was hard!
