My fucking computer has a virus. Because Im still able to post this, I can tell itz nothing major, but Im getting worse Popups that ever, and all these programs downloaded themselves onto my machine. I ran Spyware s&d, it got rid of alot of junk, but Im still loaded down. Dammit!

got to find out whats they are!!

i do spyware blaster, spybot, ad aware, panda, lavasoft something or another (that may be ad aware, trend micro house call

I don't like Norton because it expired before I got to use the internet lol. I don't know what I have, so I'm just hoping really hard that I don't get a virus.

Ad-aware and all the other Anti Spy software are only good for trashing spyware, you'll need good antivirus software to get rid of that virus.

spyware and viruses are total different.

I love my Avast antivirus--And It's free!

I've had Norton and McAfee--The Norton was impossible to install, and when I went to their virus removal site during installation I picked up all sorts of crap spyware.

The McAfee slowed the computer to a crawl when it attempted to update or do anything--and their support sucks--

AVAST is a free download for one computer--only requireing that you re-register it after 14 months.

It updates itself automatically--and frequently--and as well as a pop-up screen when updating it announces verbally.

It also has a beautiful, easy to use, interface.

Just type in Avast on Google and you should find it--It is also supported in more languages than I knew exsisted.

I'm curious about damage_plan's failed image... anyone else?

They show up for me fine, which one is failed?(there are 2 images I posted on the last page)

anyway, i dont buy anything just cuz, i run a variety of free virus AND spyware scanners, so far been lucky

I just had a Trojan on here. AVG, spysweeper, Zone alarm, and alot of others didn't pick it up. It ruined my whole pc. I finally used xoftspy..........it not only found it but got rid of it. Very highly rated too.

I had so much damage though couldn't fix it, so I installed xp, now all is fine. :)
