I am a big fan of Anne Rice's novels. Her vampire novels are by far the best! What I want to know is which one of her novels do u think is the best?!?;)

Anne Rice isnt that bad.. I like alot of her stuff kinda hard to pick...Although, I prefer Clive Barker...her work is definatley interesting.

to be honest i havent red a word anne rice has written, im sure i will though when i get around to it, but like soulsurvivor i must admit clive rules.

I read interview on a friends recomendation. It was alot better than i expected. He said all of her books are pretty good. I really enjoyed that one though. Which other ones have you read horrorfreak?

i HAVE READ ALL OF THE VAMPIRE CHRONICLES. WHICH ARE THE VAMPIRE LESTAT,THE QUEEN OF THE DAMNED, THE TALE OF THE BODY THEIF, INTERVIEW WITH THE VAMPIRE. ALL OF THOSE BOOKS. THEY ARE GREAT BOOKS.

I've only read 1 Anne Rice book The Withcing Hour but I remember liking it. Long though.

My favorite book by her, but it isn't a vampire book, it's called Belinda, that one is real good.

Ive read all her Vampire books and her Sleeping Beauty series.... love her work.

Her best book IMO is Memnoch The Devil. It's part of the Vampire series. Lestat actually meets Satan, which is rather shocking to him as he doesn't believe in God or The Devil. I won't give any more spoilers than that, but it's one of my all time favorites.

think i liked Tale of the Body Thief the best..

i've mostly only read the early vampire chronicles & atleast skimmed though the latter few vamp novels..Personally i find the character Lestat just becoming more & more annoying over time through.

If you find the Lestat character annoying, then you would love seeing his pride shattered in Memnoch The Devil.

already read it, i'd like to see another novel from Louis's POV again personally

I liked 'The vampire Lestat' the best because he gets to rock out in it! I like 'Belinda' too.

I enjoyed all of the chronicles, but i would say my favorite is "The Vampire Lestat" because it tells of Lestat's life and how he came to be. And the person who said Lestat was annoying. The whole chronicles is around him. He started it and hes been in almost every book. Without him, there would be no chronicles. Anne Rice said hes the hero, the dark lover, everything. Without him..there would be nothing. i have spoken my peace.

I loved her vampire series and hated her mayfair witch trilogy. The Mummy was good but my favorite book would have to be The Vampire Lestat followed closely by Memnoch. Memnoch was just really neat, but Lestat was the best story.
