I really like this show. makes me laugh.

DraculaInDallas 12-21-2004 10:23 PM

I live in Texas and that show hits the nail on the head.....
Hank Hill rocks......"I'll tell ya wut" :D

* off to drive my riding mower to Megalomart * ;)

It always felt like Mike Judge tamed beavis and butthead to the point where it was neither edgy or funny anymore.

Plus, as the show went on, it got real preachy. If religion is going to be a subject in a primetime show, i prefer the more cynical, open minded (and poly-denominational) tendancies of the simpsons and southpark myself.

I liked it when luanne started doing the religious puppet shows. A little god never hurt anyone.

I absolutely love KOTH!......have since the first show! I really liked the dolphin encounter one the best........that has become a catch phrase of mine now in many situations :D :p

ChEEbA 12-23-2004 03:08 AM

I've watched it on and off, it's more "watchable" than downright funny....
I remember the one where Hank got stoned though, that was some funny shit how paranoid he was, all the while trying to talk himself down...haha
"now don't worry, this is just another effect of the marijuana poison" "I'd better lie behind this bush and sleep it off"
...good shit...

Vodstok 12-23-2004 03:44 AM

I could never reconcile that the lead character, who is being passed off as "the good guy", is exactly the samer (even the same voice) as Mr Anderson from Beavis and Butthead. Why would you take your lamest character and make him the hero of your "goodie goodie" show?

"They was hwackin' in there like a couple of little spider monkeys."

If it werent for office space, i would have no faith in mike judge any more.

kpropain 12-23-2004 07:29 AM

Yeah I found it kinda funny how they gave Hank, Mr. Anderson's voice to...

They was wackin in my tool shed.

MichaelMyers 12-23-2004 04:06 PM

Dang, man, I tell you what, HDC's like a damn M-80, man, jest hisss-boom!

ChEEbA 12-23-2004 04:50 PM

Wasn't the guy that did Anderson the same voice that was used for butthead anyway???

Vodstok 01-03-2005 05:44 AM

Yeah, they were all Mike Judge. he did pretty much every male voice in Beavis and Butthead, as well as some of the women.

i just cant believe that his "hero" in king of the hill is a carbon copy of his biggest retard in Beavis and Butthead.

Earlier in the stages I didnt like King of the Hill but now and then Ill watch it with my g-ma, it's funnt because she watches it.

majorbludd 01-17-2005 07:30 PM

hing of the hill is a severely underrated show....hank as a pimp was funny....and anything involving bobby....once bobby said something about chlamydia....i fuckin died.

Vodstok 01-18-2005 04:28 AM

My assumptions about the show:

Hank and whats her face only boned once.
Bobby is gay.
Boomhauer is on speed. (hey, they are basically trailer trash, of course he loves meth)
The whiny fat guy is a pedophile. (Cmon, wimpy types always end up being perverts with 8 gigs of kiddy porn on their computer)
