This will probably get moved to Modern Horror but its really not horror. It's related.

I'm assuming that most of you know who Quentin Tarantino and Robert Rodriguez are .. and that these two collaberate and are friends.

Anyone else notice that the Depp character in Once upon a Time in Mexico and the Daryl Hannah character from Kill Bill Vol 2 were both left to die after having their eyes ripped out.

I will bet money that the Depp character will be spun off as a blind gunfighter in his own movie by Rodriguez .... i got thinking the other day that it would be cool if the Daryl Hannah character and he were to meet up in a movie.
I cant see her character turning good the way Depps did.

Just thought it would be cool is all...

now that you've mentioned it, yeah the similarity in the chracters demise, maybe there's a better word... is striking.

It's been a while since I've seen Mexico, saw Kill Bill 2 a few months ago, but do remember that both charcters were very different. Ideas have obviously been 'poached' from each other though.

I have not seen Once upon a Time in Mexico, but I like your idea because I love movie cross -overs.

I have always wished that Blade and Buffy would get together and on the big screen and slay vampires side by side. :)

yeah that would be a laugh .. i think Snipes takes himself a little too seriously for that to happen though.

then again blade II had a lot of CG in it and i think same went for trinity. but still, wesley snipes + martial arts = *druel*

Depp was an awesoime character, and a spin-off movie with his charcter would be deadly. But Daryl Hannah should not be in it. The only thing they had in common was their "demise", plus I didnt like Elle Driver much anyway, lol.

well, they were both badasses, they both had their own agenda and they both survived.

Where was Budds trailer anyway ? it looked like it was close to mexico .. texas ? Wouldn't be hard to have them meet up.

I did like Hannahs character. She was completely despicable ...

The big ? after her name at the end of Kill Bill Vol 2 is just too juicy to leave alone :)

True, something does need to be done....but not like that. I can definatly see another Kill Bill in a few years, it's take place 15 years or so ahead, and it would be the black chick that The Bride killed 1st, her daughter....If you remember, Kiddo gave that kid permission to come after her.... Maybe that kid could get some tips from Driver? Ya....they could call it "Kill Kiddo"....I like i:cool:

In my movie, the main character gets his eye scooped out with a butter knife and wears a patch the rest of the movie...they stole my fucking idea!

Kind of. The blade must enter the corner of the eye socket by the top of the nose, then press it deep beyond the eyeball and proceed to scoop the knife towards you.

sounds like it would make a mess out of the eye that way.
pointy end would cut into the eye .. if the end wasnt pointy it would mash the corner of the eye.

A good way would be one of those mellon scoops .. or better yet if you could find something like a small suction cup .. just pop the bugger out and cut the optical nerve with a pair of fingernail clippers.

and voila ! a nice clean eyeball to put in a jar or something.
Hang it on the xmas tree.
(make sure the optical nerve dries into a hook shape.)
