house on haunted hill

what do you think about that film? I mean the orig. 1959...

This my personal favorite Vincent Price movie. A good old fashioned spooky movie. Very cliche ,very corny but it's great.Watch it late at night, with the lights out and you'll love it. If you like this film check out Price's "The Last Man On Earth" it's also a fun scary movie.

I love it...But, the Wax Museum will always be my favorite Vincent Price movie

A very close second for best Vincent Price flick IMO, topped only by Pit and the Pendulum. I 1st saw it this past May, now I own both it and itz remake. Both are among my absolute favorite movies of all time. Watch them both right now.

The first with the cars pulling up to the house was used later in "CLUE".

I like the movie, but my Vincent Price favorite is "The Bat"--also with Agnes Moorhead--(Endora from Bewitched)

Yep, I watch it last night... started to watch at 3a.m. and finished at 4:30a.m. it scared me a little bit... movie is awesome. but I thinks its without ending... story begins: 5 people entered the house. they had to survive in house all night, after that they would get 10.000$. So, only one woman was killed ... so, how about others? the movie finished without the morning - in the middle of night. in the end of movie doors was closed and people left in the house... so, who survived, who was killed...? movie without ending, I dont like it.
I think I figured that out.....

The Dr. [Who was in cahoots with Annabelle] got killed, as did Annabelle.

horror_master 01-05-2005 01:28 PM

I just watched it, it was freakin aswome. Man 60 movies rock.

nine9 01-08-2005 08:31 PM

Just saw it again the other day and loved it!

But I really think Theatre of Blood is my favorite Price movie. I think this movie finaly let him show off his talent a an actor while still sticking to the horror genre. He lost credibility in hollywood as a serious actor once he went to horror.

Well we all think differently.......;)

I'm almost always parial to original releases compaired to remakes, and this one is no exception. BTW, you can normally find this movie in a Horror Collectors set with several other movies for around 6-10 dollars.
