Is there a character in a film that you wish would just die; the sort of role that when they get it, the cinema shouts hooray.


My own personal hate is a character in Jaws 2 - a girl who towards the end, (when the survivors are nearing "Cable Junction" and Brody appears to save the day) goes into hysterics at the mere word "Shark". Unfortunately the shark didn't get her, but god if I was there I'd purposely throw her in the water/ shove her head in the water just so the shark would shut her up.

Even though I've seen Jaws 2 several times, I just keep hoping that this time she'll get it, alas so far no.

On topic, as stated in the other thread, i fucking HATE Stephen from the original Dawn of the Dead. i am so glad he dies, and he doesnt actually get anyone good killed. Hende, Dawn is one of the world's most perfect movies :D

Most small children. Especially when they beat up the big bad villian.

this one is easy.

Franklin.. or whatever the name of the fat guy in the wheelchair was in the origional chainsaw. I cheered when he bought it.

Also the asshole in the mummy .. the weasly bad guy character.
Also the monk or whatever in Van Helsing.

I hate most comic releif guys when they arent needed, arent funny, and just drag the film to a cold stop.

argh ! Beat me to it. I wish they'd have kicked his ass out of the van at the beginning rather than the hitchiker. Between the honking the horn and his insistance on keeping the damn flashlight, he couldn't have bought the farm a moment sooner for my enjoyment. The actual guy was going to make an appearance at some horror convention and I wanted to go to see if he's still annoying 30 years later LOL
