horror connections
here's a little game for all you folks at home, depending how bored you are:
can you name a character in a non horror role that can be connected to a horror character e.g. - these are James Bond with a horror character James Bond and Frankenstein/Dracula - Roger Moore played JB. One of the villains was scaramanga (the man with the golden gun) played by Christopher Lee who played Frankensteins' monster in the Curse of Frankenstein. This can also be JB and Dracula or the wicker man, which also starred Britt Ekland who also was in the man with the golden gun. Peter cushing played Van Helsing in a few Dracula films against Christopher Lee and played Victor frankenstein again in the curse..., he played this character several times and also starred in Star Wars where the chief villain Darth Vader was played (physical) by David Prowse, who also played the monster in Frankenstein and the monster from hell, where one of other characters was played by Bernard Lee who played 'M' James Bond's Boss, phew! Does all this make sense? How about James Bond and Michael Myers? there is a very easy link for this and it is "You only live twice" - Donald Pleasence played the villain Blofeld and also Dr loomis in Halloween. the long version is - Robert Shaw (From Russia with Love) - Jaqueline Bisset (the deep, with R Shaw) - Steve McQueen (Bullit, with Jaqueline Bisset) The Great Escape (Steve McQueen and Donald Pleasence) which takes us to Halloween/or you only live twice. Another - James Bond and Jason Voorhees? this is a stinker, haven't worked it out yet, maybe something to do with his mum. |

the connection is that both roger moore and betsy palmer where in "The King and I"
back to more important stuff : The subway car was packed. It was rush hour, and many people were forced to stand. One particularly cramped woman turned to the man behind her and said, "Sir, if you don't stop poking me with your thing, I'm going to call the cops!" "I don't know what you're talking about miss, that's just my pay check in my pocket." "Oh really," she said. "Then you must have some job, because that's the fifth raise you've had in the last half hour." :D |
what could be more important then thomas the tank engine? :p
