i went to walmart today and in the halloween section i found a bunch of horror movies for $1 each

2 the bat-vincent price
3 bucket of blood
4 the giant gila monster
5 the ape-boris karloff
6 carnival of souls
7 the killer shrews
8 the phantom of the opera-lon chaney
9 little shop of horrors-jack nicholson

have any of you seen any of these. it might be a good idea to check out these discount bins before its over

Carnival of souls, The Ape, The Brain That Wouldn't Die, and Phantom of the Opera are good.

The Bat--not only with Vincent Price, but also Agnes Moorhead(Endora from Bewitched) is great.

I bought the Little Shop of Horror's dvd....didn't even play all the way through.....it scratched and skiped...i got what i paid for....

no kidding .. at that price I'd but them all.
we dont get them for #1 in canada .. the cheapest are $3.99 and the titles arent that good .. i'm envious !

On the other hand I keep finding these 10 - 20 movie horror boxsets for next to nothing up here in the used DVD stores.

I think these movies are public domain so they cost next to nothing to release ..

Dimentia 13 is an old Coppola movie i think (or someone famous now) ... an Irish thriller.

anyway .. definately .. buy them all !

mind you i was only like 7 when that movie came out but i don't remember jack in it.

Ginger, you were 7 when the remake with Rick Moranis came out ..

I was gestating in the womb when the Corman version with JAck came out !

ok well i guess that's the problem ... i didn't even know there were 2. :p

the origional isnt a musical .. its a black and white low budget flick that was shot in a couple of days ..
But still worth seeing !

lol. i like fall and i like big fluffy snow storms just before christmas. after that ... not so much.

i cant stand a thing about it .. bloody snow, bloody shovelling, bloody car windows to scrape....

I like the windy creepy atmosphere of fall but i cant enjoy it as much knowing whats coming next ...

neither, i'm off work because i'm between surgeries. i tore the MCL and damaged the meniscus in my knee in january (on my birthday) and had surgery on it in the spring. i'm waiting on an ankle reconstruction now.

given your entheusiasm for certain physical activities i'm almost afraid to ask ... but how the hell did you do that ??

sadly it wasn't sex related nor was it alcohol induced.

ok here's the dealio ..... it was my birthday and i was supposed to have the day off and i had made plans. instead i get a call a few days before saying that i had to go to a SAFETY seminar (of all things) for work. well i pouted and whined that i didn't waaaaanna goooooooo cause it's my biiiiiiiiiirthday. :p so anyway you know how it is in the winter ..... everything is wet. so i was comming in my building after the damn seminar and i slipped on wet tile floor (where their was no mat) and the inside of my knee is what hit the floor (breaking up the meniscus) forcing the lower leg to go out the wrong way. (tearing the MCL).

as for my ankle, a few years ago i stepped off an unfinished deck at night on torn up ground and badly sprained my right ankle and dislocating and breaking the left in two places. actually the dislocation was really bad. my foot was turned sideways and up the side of my leg. kinda even made the doc a bit ill looking.

i've had two surgeries on the ankle so far and one on the knee.

like you're dealing with something a lot worse than that ..

i'd have had sex in the hospital if they hadn't put me in the damn kids wing. lol but seriously it never really put a damper on that, there are many positions that compensate if need be. doggy on a hard floor is a bit sore but you know you do what you need to do. ;)
