Anythng convincing?
 

Well I really want to get my tongue pierced, but because of the laws etc. over here I have to get parental consent. And my mum said no.
Is there anything I can do to convince her that it isn't that bad?

I know someone who had their toung pierced recently. They said it hurt like hell, stung for days and they had to drink soup for days afterwards.... not my cup of tea.

doubt you'll be able to convince mother either.

Tell your parents that you are not doing it to be trendy. Tell the you are doing it as a spiritual quest to help you become one with the pain of life.

Or get 18 and move out as DraculaInDallas stated.
As as also stated...after a piercing you have to stay on a liquid diet for 2 days.

Good point Codeine. If you're not doing it because it's trendy, then you can wait a couple of years till you leave home.

Tell them that while the other kids around you are doing drugs, drinking and having wild sex, all you want to do is get your tongue pierced. It will either work, or they'll suspect you of everything and make you live in a bubble until you're 18.

My love has her tongue pierced and its amazing....i love kissing her with it....kinda makes me think about getting one but its not really my style....

My wife had a tongue piercing until last week, she had had in since 2 years beforei met her. she had to take it out because it was eroding the gums and bone behind one of her front teeth. That is something to think about...

i wouldnt recomend it. i had my tongue pierced for a long time, and it chipped the enamel off several of my teeth. plus one night, i was drunk and passed out. the next morning i woke up and one of the balls were missing. i was lucky i didnt swallow the bar.

Just wait and when you are 18 if you still want it get it. odds are you might not want it when you turn 18 but if you do you can get it....:D :D
