Building a website for a horror movie.

Hi,

I'll soon start building a website for an upcoming horror movie. I am writing up a list of features for the website basing myself on features I've seen in the past. I was wondering if you guys can remember a still-active movie's official website. I need an example with a lot of great features. It doesn't have to look good. List as many as you want. I'll gather what is relevent to our work.

Thanks,

Steve

what do you use tobuild your pages? i use Visual Studio, basically because i do everthing in ASP .Net. if you use flash, there are some nice kick-ass sites out there.

I can't say anything for the moment unfortunetly. I don't like talking about my projects before they're at least half way done. But it's not an indie, I can tell you that much.

Well we work in team. I'm not sure what the others work with but as a graphic designer, I use Photoshop, Dreamweaver, Illustrator, Flash, Director. Hey can I see some of the things you've done? I'm curious!

Yeah I get you. Flash works miracles. I really enjoy workign with Flash.

thats all you need to see my stuff. 90% of the work i have done is internal to the company i work for, so i cant show it off. there isnt anything too terribly fancy, except for the different themes i have done for my site. click the scared yet? logo at the top of the page to check them out.

I do, however, put little hidden easter-eggs all over the place, so keep your eyes peeled.

Hey, that means we have at least 2 things in common. That's an excellent start :Þ

I'm glad you like the site. Our real sites are http://www.shade.ca and http://www.terror.ca. We're revamping Terror tough so that it looks more like a horror site.

Vodstok 10-15-2004 11:45 AM

I love the sidebar on terror.ca.

i remember youposting that a while back, it actually gave me the inspiration for the sidebar here:
http://scaredyet.net/gourmet

That site isnt complete, and doesnt even belong with my fear site, but i used it to show off to Cheeba, as he will be helping me with recipes and other content for it.

Steve_Hutchison 10-15-2004 12:52 PM

Hey let me know when the cheese recipes are up. Half my grocery budget goes to strong and blue cheese. I love blue cheese!
