But I don't think he knows it, otherwise he would have said something in class. I'm not sure, but there are many clues that point to his being one of my students ... and they are more than just coincidence. Should I point it out, or just keep quiet? Because, you know, I would hate for one of my students to know I post here and see all the language I use and read all my political and religious views, etc.

I was going to check his birthday that he posted on his profile with the birthday of the student I have on record, but I can't find that paperwork. I think I threw it out. Dammit. But, he's in the right age range ... and his name, quote, and one of his posts all coincide with things this kid has done in class or talked to me about.

I can't say who it is ... I really don't want it getting out at the school that I post here. That would be death for me at HDC. There would be all sorts of kids coming here to read the shit I say, and to see the language I use.

Phew! False alarm. I found that paperwork I was talking about, and the birthdays do not match. I am in the clear.

The member I thought was one of my students is dantehorrorfan. Here's why:

1. The student is in my creative writing class, and he wanted to name the protagonist of his short story Dante. He asked me if I thought that was a stupid name.

2. dantehorrorfan's quote is the lullaby from NOES. The student I thought he was took that lullaby and altered it for a poetry exercise.

3. dantehorrorfan made a post about the game "Fable." The kid in my class is playing Fable ... he was reading the strategy guide one day, and wanted to show me stuff in the guide.

4. dantehorrorfan made a post about how he was stuck in the prison world of Silent Hill 4. The kid in my class was stuck in that world, too. He asked me for advice on how to get through it.

And the last two post dates coincide with the approximate dates this kid in class asked me about these games.

Coincidence? Yes. But pretty freaky, if you ask me.

Why would he do that? Why not just leave it blank, if you didn't want to put your birthday in? Quit fuckin' with me ShankS! :eek:

but the other day, there was a similar situation with Vampenguin, where I thought he was 17/18 going by his profile, but he said he'd put another age or lied about it.

Well, I can understand lying to make youself older if you're only 14-15. But, the student is actually a little older than the birthday in dantehorrorfan's profile. I don't think he would lie and make himself younger?

It was a joke. I was implying that if you start studying for your tests at school, so will the student who's life seems to mimic your own. Then maybe he'll start passing my class.

You gotta line up the rooms. Each floor has one room with a bloodsoaked bed in it. Line up these so that they are on top of each other, then drop down into the hole in one of these rooms. (I think the one the third floor is the only one that is unlocked.) Then you have to make your way to the torture chamber, where the level will end.

It's tedious. What I had to do was to check the location of the hole on the floor you can't turn that had the bloody bed behind it. Check it in relation to the ladder you come up on, then turn the handle on floors 2 and 3 so that the rooms with the bloody beds are in the same position in relation to the ladder.

For example, say you climb up the ladder and check the holes and find the bloody bed room is directly behind you and to the left a little bit. So, you climb the ladder, go to the same spot (directly behind you and to the left) and see what is in that hole. It won't be the bloody bed room. So, go to the wheel and turn it any direction one time, then check the same spot again. You'll see that the room behind that hole has changed (but it probably won't still be the bloody bed room). Go back to the wheel and turn it once again, checking the hole after each turn you make. When you see the bloody bed room in that spot, climb the ladder and do the same thing on the third floor. You'll know you have it right when the cell door on the first floor opens and the prisoner that was in there runs off (you'll get a cut scene showing you this).

Well, then go to the third floor, enter the room with the bloody bed in it, and drop into the hole. Keep dropping in the holes of the rooms you land in, and eventually you'll come to a spot where there is a door that needs to a code to open. Open it up and enter the torture chamber. Level over.
