Horror.com: Back in the day...
 

I've been wondering around the site for a few days now, and I noticed how many people have just seemed to disapear. The place is becoming over-runned with newbies. To me they are newbies, anyway. I don't care if they make 1000 post, they'll still newbies to me. I'm just glad some of the good ol' members still post. I farelly see hardly any these days. Arioch is the most active I've seen.Now a long time ago (when I had my older name) I made a thread like this. But it wasn't as serious as it is now. Am I the only one who noticed this? And please, I don't want any newbies posting here. The people who should be able to post here know who they are.

I used to post here religiously. I posted in the forums. I posted review and articles as well as interviews. That was until my computer went haywire and never recovered. I've missed it here but I have returned...hehe...dramatic. I will start my frequent posting up again very soon. Hopefully we can get this place rocking again. I agree back months ago it was really kicking around here. I'll see if I can't lure avenger00soul back in here...hehe. I see he's pretty much stopped posting.

I think it might be because all of our threads our uselsess (just like this one) and it gets REALLY boring after awhile, people stop coming here and then we all just fall to pieces..fell to pieces..and I'm still falling..

Kind of ironic, when it was people similar to how you used to be, that pissed off the older members , and they ended up leaving.

I've noticed it too Freddy... Where the fuck did everyone go?

I know my posts per day have dropped off significantly because I've been having computer problems. (I can only get on at work right now.)

P.S. Shanks has a point. People who act like retarded assholes tend to turn others off from the site. I'm not saying you were a retarded asshole before, but anyone that was here knows you weren't the friendliest fella either. ;)

too many pathetic threads, thats the problem. and abusing newbies is another one. how many newbies have you seen start a thread and only end up being abused..? sure its good that there are oldies. but newbies are needed just as much i think. they bring something fresh to the forums if you know what i mean. i mean if a newbie comes and starts a thread that was done before, no matter how interesting it was gets abused. i mean thats ok if there was a like minded thread just below. but these newbies get abused for starting duplicating a thread that mightn't have been up for months or even years. what are they suppose to do.... go through the whole forum to make sure it hasn't been done before.

P.S. Vamp, I don't know if you ever seen this legendary member, but Leatha_Face is missed for me. 'CoMe HeRe BiTcH!' And Michael returned. He posts more frequently now. But what about LBM? He hasn't been here lately. That signature song of his was great. Clarice has a reason for not posting, seeing how she's a Mod. And she can by Vodka. Good ol' Vodka.

ive been here since last november when the whole "incident happened"..........i used to post alot but i left shortly there after because of all the people who got on here just to flame the dedicated members and start meaningless shit with the people in here who actually did something worthwhile.....i am back now b/c the board seemed like it had changed alot.......i am very glad i came back......there are some awesome people on this board that i have come to know as good friends......i do think however that noobs are welcome members a much as we are..... b/c if not for them then we wouldnt ever have fresh ideas or i dare say......... someone to pick on......lmao!! ;) :D

thats my que i just wanted to stat that i didnt "leave" because i was fed up or some bull shit like that. i know i havent been posting alot but thats all due to fucking dial up taking up the phone line and i dont get to get on intell late. but i have noticed that alot has changed but its still horror.com and there will be posters that suck and there will be the true blue horror.com family just now our family has got a few new brothers and sisters and the parental figures (mods) have grown too. but no matter how shitty this site gets the true posters will stay strong. ok that sounded like a shitty speach in a teenage football movie or something. but you guys get what im saying

Itz a second returning of members.....thank the lord!

I haven't had the internet for the last couple months...just got it again......this is my first time back and I'm sad to see that soo many have left. For whatever reason...I hope they come back and for the newbies....as long as they can hold there own....I don't have a problem with them.

I dissapear and reappear periodically.
