Yes.

Freddy in 3D is available on a non-region DVD, but you'd have to buy a home IMAX kit off ebay or something. Usually runs 30 bucks.

As mentioned above by Sistinas yeah Robert Englund was in it. He used to introduce the stories (as Freddie). From memory there were 2 or 3 stories per episode (1hrs worth). I could be wrong about that part though, it has been ages since I last saw it on TV.

It was similar in style to Tales From The Crypt with Freddy as Cryptkeeper. I used to own a few of them on VHS but the sound went wonky.

The series was ok I suppose but it suffered from not knowing what to do with the Freddy character and as such appeared exactly what it was, a cash in the movie franchise's popularity.

i had the complete series on vhs in the old days, but i believe only the first one is available on dvd cuz it didnt sell well, especially over here in the UK, which is a shame as i enjoyed them.

Wow, what a blast from the past. I totally remember this show!

The pilot was about two twin sisters who had nightmares, and Freddy was actually in that, in their nightmares... I can remember the girls would hold hands when they went to sleep in order to stay together in the dreams...

Then after that, it was as hellbound said, similar to Tales from the Crypt... Freddy came on, said some corny/witty lines and then the show would be totally unrelated to Nightmare

But it was still great, I watched the entire series.

I had no idea you could buy this!! That's great.
