hmm just watched it with my homie fat kid ben. Fucking odd. I was cool that it had so many throwbacks to other horror movies though. I also rent Junk though I didnt get a chance to watch it yet. Id really like to talk with someone about it seeing that parts of the plot were lost on me.

Any one seen it? Avenger?

I didn't think Stacy translated well to English. I'm sure something social and political was going on there metaphorically but got lost in the shuffle. Junk rocks, though. I especially dig the nude super zombie, and the main guy's English is horrible. Ever notice that almost all of the newbreed jap Yakuza movies have a Tarantino-esgue Mexican stand-off?

yeah you know now that i think about it i do remember quite a few True Romance shootouts.

Haven't seen it Nightbreed. I'm way behind on my Japanese horror. I still haven't seen Battle Royale or Versus. I just can't find them here and they cost too damn much to buy.

Nightbreed I have seen Stacy.. Like someone mentioned we might not understand it very well since we dont live over there.. It is basically a gore fest and the story of females coming to age in Japan.. Dont ask me anyone cause this is all I get from it.. Cool movie though

Just got done watching it. Weird is an understatement. If there was some kind of social commentary or deeper meaning, I totally missed it. All I saw was a crazy-ass zombie movie. Gotta love the "Bruce Campbell Right Hand version 2" chainsaw though.
