looking for the name of a movie

saw this in the 60's but can't remember the name? all i can remember is that there was a part where a girl used a pair of binoculars and they where loaded withspikes and when she adjusted thefocus it triggered them and it took out her eyes.......also a part where a person goes to bed only to look up and be in the way of a goulotine. does any one know the name of this film?

I've heard that movie before. I couldn't find a copy of the movie, but I wanna watch it.

Anything with Michael Gough is worth watching. Even those fairly recent Batman movies he did.

As giant ape movies go, Konga's not that terrible. I'd rather watch that than the new Mighty Joe Young or I might even venture to say Son of Kong, or King Kong lives. Or Congo. C+ movie for a C- genre. Post Willis O' Brien ape cinema is not exactly full of shining examples.

ahhh, come on. Konga isn't so bad...it's better then spikes in the eyes (although not by much)

Okay, okay. I agree that Konga is a piece a crap. Bad idea that is technically well-executed, but a bad idea. But, if you like mad ranting and raving, Gough does a lot of that in it. Plus he shoots a kitty cat in cold blood. He's a real scumsucker jerk of a scientist!
