I watched this last night after buying it in the cheap bin at the video store. Slash was a hell of a lot better than I expected and was one of the better modern slashers I've seen recently.

It had a reasonable budget. I think it was a South African production. But yeh I'm pretty sure it would have gone straight to video like it did over here. These links might shed some light on it for you.

Oh come on, you can't honestly tell me this honkytonk horror movie was better than "Cut". This movie was terrible, except for the killers outfit. The plot was utterly stupid. Some guy is pissed because his grandson failed to save him from a fire when his grandson was 7 years old? Gimme a break. :rolleyes:
