Research question – calling all horror fans!
 

Hi! I’m in the middle of writing a mystery novel and in one part I need to reference a horror movie scene. Problem is, I’m not a huge horror buff and I can’t think of one that fits all the criteria I need.
I need to find a movie with a scene where a character (preferably woman, but I won’t be too picky) is sitting in a car and the slasher/maniac/bad guy pounces on her and we see lots of blood. Can anyone thing of a movie like this? The more well known the movie, the better, but again, I’m not going to be too picky. I’d really appreciate any help. Thanks!

Urban Legends....The girl is driving, singing with Bonnie Tyler on the radio "...Turn around, Bright eyes..."...LOVED that...lol....And the guy jumps up from the backseat with the ax.....You know the rest...

How about MANIAC. Guy / girl in a car he gets his head blown off with a shotgun, then she gets it.

And that was Tom Savini, fx guru. He said that was the weirdest scene he ever set up - his own head getting blown off LOL

Not too bloody, but what about Halloween? When [Insert Name Here] is in her car, trying to get away, and Micheal is in the back seat? I liked it.

I don't remember but surely "Christine" had someone killed in the car.
