I remember awhile back you were posting film scans. I was wondering what program you used to capture your images. Or does anybody else know any good programs, possiably freeware?

i use powerdvd as it can be configured to capture to file and then convert them to jpegs with a graphics program.

play images until you hit the one you want then push the print screen button :P

that'll copy and image which you can then paste into a photoshop program. not that difficult

go into configuration and then advanced options....on the snapshot tab there will be default capture mode options. by default it captures to clipboard but that can be changed to file (saves as bitmaps)

just have to set the captured ration to current video window size, set the film running full screen and then press "c" (from memory) to capture the frame full screen. so at home i get 1600*1400 captures.
