I don't remember him once ever giving a title either... Sad cause he's recommended several movies, but how can I try them if I don't know the movie's title. 8(

That's my favorite Nightmare sequel!

Roiffalo 05-05-2015 11:43 PM

I got as far as 3 in the Elm Street series before not being able to find anymore available to watch online. I hope Netflix adds them.. rest of them anyway. They only have the second film, I think a remake, and a documentary on the series over 200minutes long ::roll eyes::

Why not make one, Dead Bad?

Gears-of-Warren 05-06-2015 12:50 AM

Today I watched strange mystery horror about a stalker stalking a single kid. It an odd movie and the mask of the stalker is so weird, I not able to even describe what the hell is on the stalker's head...::big grin::

Gears-of-Warren 05-07-2015 01:18 AM

1 about a demon summon in bad town. It bad movie exept 1 scene which makes it worth watch. So much blue light is used, so much as the director had no other trick.

Gears-of-Warren 05-08-2015 06:55 AM

Today I watch slasher with rare quality visual and acting. I shocked it not become popular like F13 and Freddy. Even the killer act good in killing.

The Bloofer Lady 05-08-2015 06:00 PM

ATTACK OF THE BEAST CREATURES 1985

A ship sinks at sea and the survivors happen upon an island inhabited by strange little creatures that look just like the African fetish doll on "Trilogy of Terror" with Karen Black.

And the island is also dotted with little ponds of pure acid???

Fun fluff

Gears-of-Warren 05-08-2015 09:35 PM

Today I watched movie about kitchen tools kill people. It entertaining and gross some.

Re-Animator

Forever regretting taking so long to watch this. Wish they didn't end it so abruptly but I absolutely LOVED it. Classic story, effects, characters. Thank you Netflix for having it. Oh and the theme is highly entertaining, but I don't know if it's a rip off of Psycho's or not... It certainly is more upbeat.

LOVE ME DEADLY 1973

Certainly not as twisted as the poster implies but it is bent. A beautiful young woman yearns for but can never replace her dead father. Her yearnings lead her down a very sick path.
It was worth watching.

From Beyond (1986)

http://upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedi...yondposter.jpg

Stuart Gordon directs this wonderfully bizarre and disturbing adaptation of the H. P. Lovecraft short story. For the most part the specials effects makeups hold up very well (although some not as much as others) and there is a lot brutal gore throughout. I really like the use of color and lighting when The Resonator was turned on. Jeffrey Combs gives a solid albeit over-the-top performance as the protagonist. Ted Sorel is massively creepy as the film's villain and his transformation scenes are mind blowing. Barbara Crampton in a dominatrix outfit plus Ken Foree. I highly recommend checking this out.

Since you liked it so much you should see From Beyond. Same sort of style, same actor as the protagonist, another Lovecraft film, etc.

DARK HERITAGE 1989

Based on Lovecraft's "The Lurking Fear". A newspaper reporter spends the night in a mansion trying to find the link between it and a rash of monstrous deaths. It all seems to be tied in with the former owners of the mansion who disappeared without an explanation.

Gears-of-Warren 05-13-2015 09:52 PM

Today I watch little knon pre Halloween '78 slasher. I not know about it but my a-hole roommate show it to me thankful. He okay some time.

Ferox13 05-14-2015 12:30 AM

Howling V: The Rebirth
It had a plot and interesting enough characters... then somewhere along the line the plot got lost and everyone died. Normally I have fun with that but the ending was rather disappointing. Very disappointing actually.

Some one posted this on my FaceBook feed as a 'rare classic' so I hadda take alook. Kinda shocking how the children were used in this film...also a nice communion scene between a priest and some nuns. : ) It's on youtube.

Howling IV: The Original Nightmare
I've seen this so many times I'm more or less using it for background noise, but I can't help but stop what I'm working on to watch my favorite scenes. I don't care how bizarre the transformations are, this movie's a classic.
