GOOD AGAINST EVIL 1977


Made for tv movie about a young man who falls in love with a young woman being groomed to bear Satan's child. Of course neither of them know this but the woman has an inkling due to her unusual childhood.
There's an "exorcism" scene but the sound effects were mostly monkeys, elephants and lions. And the priest almost gets..pillowed to death.
Nothing too taxing.

Watching Airplane! right now for the 50th time with my friend. Classic!

Today I watched crappy slasher from 80s. It have crappy actors, crappy story, crappy villain, crappy kills. The directing was mostly good.

A family are decimated by a group of idiot punks who break into their mountain retreat. But while searching for "hidden cash" they let loose a deformed young man the family have been caring for.
I was glad I stumbled upon it on YouTube.

Today I watched Elm St like movie from late 80s. This one have much cheese and little please.

I watch now strange movie with devil woman with six breasts giving milk to satan creatures. This so weird. ::big grin::

Today I watched my favorite severed hand movie. It set up for sequel that never come.

BLOOD SONG 1982


A young girl keeps dreaming of murders and comes across the actual murderer burying one of his victims. He sees her and sets to find her before she can identify him. Problem is no one believes her. And the crazed killer is played by Frankie Avalon.

Today I watched my favorite slasher sequel and its so underrated by horror fans. I surprised much by this because it bloody, spooky, good acting, and more.

I not see this but will.

Today I watched my favorite original slasher. So good and age well. Love, love, love it to gory death.

I watch, it bad.

THE SLAYER 1982

This was great fun for me. Two couples vacationing on a barely inhabited island fall prey to the stuff of nightmares. This is the second movie, the first being "The Boneyard", that Deadbeat and Gears have led me to. Loved both.

Today i watched one from early in 70s and it shocked me because villian is guy in hockey mask! Some scenes are spooky/creepy, I like most but subject is not for weak girly people.

Where did you find them to watch?

No he doesn't sing but he plays a wooden whistle. There is one scene where he is strangling a girl and he is disturbingly realistic.

I found them both on YouTube. I don't know how to post the links. The Boneyard wasn't hard to find but the full Slayer was. You have to type in "The Slayer 1982 uncut".

I second that! I was just trying to find Slayer on Netflix but couldn't find it.

NIGHT OF THE DEMON 1980 Not Night of the Demons


A professor and 5 students trek out to Bigfoot country to explain the cause of a number of gruesome deaths. Geez, a motorcyclist who stops to urinate on the side of the road will be peeing through a straw now. Ouch!!!! He didn't make it anyway. There's plenty of backwoods drama they stumble upon as well as one pissed-off Bigfoot.

I really enjoyed it.

Today I watched one that combine Psycho and A Bucket of Blood. It okay.

FLESHEATER a.k.a ZOMBIE NOSH 1988


Bill Hinzman who played the zombie in the cemetery in NOTLD helmed this little gem. Its awful and I almost didn't finish it but sometimes these movies have a charm of their own. You'll recognize Hinzman right away.

A farmer removing old tree stumps from his property unearths an imprisoned zombie on Halloween night.

PRINCE OF DARKNESS (1987). While I don't think this is as bad as a lot of people say, still find it takes forever to get going and lots of unneeded characters. It's as interesting premise that could have been helped with a little pruning.
Still has some scary scenes, good musical score and some cool people in the cast. **1/2
