Me and my roommate got drunk and watched Resident Evil: Apocalypse... I dunno why.

MoonLit Meadow 07-06-2005 09:36 PM

An American Werewolf in London...pretty good, it was the first time I'd seen it :)

today I thought it was kickass. so which one the first or second?

AUSTIN316426808 07-07-2005 12:03 AM

If you mean which is better than the second.

Neither are good films imo but at least the Apocalypse was entertaining.....the first one was just bad all around.

Dead Birds

Much better than I expected. Cool, original story, nice amount of on-screen gore, preety cool/creepy ghost story set in the old west. I think anyone that rents it will be pleasently surprised.

The People Under the Stairs

Not the scariest movie but its entertaining. The plot, acting and ending are all good. Lot of parts made me laugh... Reminded me kinda like the goonies and even home alone. You had to laugh at Daddy's costume. One of the funnier horror movies....

Yellow Jacket 07-07-2005 12:38 PM

I think i would have found it a lot better if they hadn´t try to make it a horror movie for children. It really had potential to be a great scary chiller...:(

BH14 07-07-2005 01:21 PM

I think lot of people liked it for its comedy or some of the corny lines.... I didnt find it to be creepy or very scary. If they made it too serious, it would definetly taken away from Mommy, Daddy, Roach and Fool's characters... If someone was expecting a serious scary movie, this isnt for them... This is more along the lines of Goonies with some horror. I actually found this movie to be just as funny as Shaun of the Dead.

The Snow Walker, Suburban Madness, and Premonition

BH14 07-07-2005 01:30 PM

how was premonition? japanese movie?

movieman64 07-07-2005 01:57 PM

I just finished it a bout an hour ago, and i liked it. It was a bit predictable, but It kept my intrest, and kept having me guessing what twist was coming up next.

Yes it is Asian.

Troy. I was actually impressed...much better than I expected.

jenna26 07-07-2005 07:31 PM

I didn't really like Troy all that much, except for the one outstanding death blow. And I thought Eric Bana did a fine job. But other than that, I wasn't impressed.

Watching Highlander now.

Lemony Snicketts

Possibly the worst movie I've ever seen! Even the outakes sucked! The DVD isn't worth using as a coster for your beer bottle!

slasherman 07-07-2005 11:56 PM

"Marathon Man" (1976)...a nice litle thriller...strong performance by Laurence Olivier as 'The White Angel' Szell ...

42ndStreetFreak 07-08-2005 12:28 AM

"The Deep" - THAT wet t-shirt STILL looks damn good!

Elvis_Christ 07-08-2005 03:21 AM

i thought it sucked too ..

visually interesting in parts - i guess ... but it's not like it hasn't all been done before at one time or another ...

10 years ago it would have been a (effects-wise) amazing movie ...

now it just doesnt cut it ..

I thought the biggest problem was that it simply wasn´t funny. And it even had Jim Carrey in it!!??

DISAPPOINTING!!!

Various "Starsky and Hutch" episodes including a riot of a story with John Saxon as the World's cheesiest 'Vampire'!

Same here. :(

The_Return 07-09-2005 07:17 AM

Ive been away for awhile, took my portable DVD player with me. Watched:

Jeepers Creepers 2
Van Helsing
Hannibal

and various Looney Tunes Episodes

Last night, I caught Joy Ride on TV. Usually, it's a bad thing when a movie is nothing like what I expected. In this case, I loved it. I was expecting more of a horror movie, but I thought it was a pretty damn good [Albiet very predicable] action flick.
