I.M.D.B. Lara Croft, the fiercely independent daughter of a missing adventurer, must push herself beyond her limits when she discovers the island where her father disappeared. This movie was...fine. Nothing really interesting or memorable. Genuinely felt like the video game in places. THE PACK 2015
A pretty decent film supposedly based on real feral dog attacks in Australia. A family tries to defend themselves in their isolated farm house against wild dogs. I enjoyed it. |

CONSPIRACY (2001). Very good HBO presentation of the 1/20/42 Wannsee Conference where various branches of German Civil Service met with the SS to make Genocide a National concern. Solid turns by Kenneth Branagh (Reinhard Heydrich) and Stanley Tucci (Adolf Eichmann). ****

Feral (2017)
I.M.D.B. Students fight to survive a weekend in the woods. Ugh. Terrible. Atrocious dialogue, delivered badly. Watching this felt like a complete waste of time. A character goes from "Do you think [this character] is really gay?" to "Will you marry me?" to "I need to go take a piss in the woods" in the space of a minute. Great lines, said unironically, like "Why does he have horse tranquilizers?". "Well he's not playing My Little Pony!"
