Not sure if I've extended the recommendation around here before, but if not: anyone not familiar with Plaskett's work needs to check him out ASAP. Probably the best songwriter to come out of Canada in decades. Fort, Alky - I'm looking at you.

To me they sound very much like Brother Firetribe's. Not too odd as both bands are almost swedish.

I have avalanche and shipwreck (stole avalanche from my brother basically and bought shipwreck a few years later when I was looking for a soundgarden cd :p) I should probably get whirlpool.... so that you know I can actually get a svs cd I actually intended to get, especially because people on amazon are selling it new for 3.99 :eek:

It's dope, I really dig the tune Oscar Says. Haven't heard much of them at all but will be changing that real soon. Some their stuff reminds me of the Minutemen.
