"Bichunmoo".

Here´s a comment from IMDB that fits my thoughts on this movie very well:

In terms of plot and storytelling, Bichunmoo was weak and slow. It was far too long (1 hour and 55 minutes to tell a very simple story), and most of it was incredibly dull.

There were two plots; firstly the Bichunmoo martial arts secrets, and secondly the love story. None of them worked particularly well; the martial arts plot was particularly undeveloped. In the middle of the story, the action jumps some 12 or 15 years, which is quite confusing, as it isn't portrayed very well. You sit with a feeling of having to fill in a lot of blanks yourself.

Action-wise there isn't much to enthuse about, and the overall story and storytelling style can get no more that a "4" rating from me. I will reluctantly raise that to a "5", though, because of the many visually beautiful shots that occur throughout the movie.

But all things considered, this is a movie you can live just fine without having seen

Before I get to the last movie I watched, I need to say something. When you start watching a movie with as high expectations as I had of this, usually you get disapointed [Ex. that aplies to me- Exorcist]. But on a rare occaision, you go into a movie with very high expectations, and the movie blows right past them. The Godfather, which I watched for the 1st time last night was just such a movie. Some of the deaths, one in particular[It would be a spoiler], actually came damn close to bringing a tear to my eye. One of the absolute best movies ever made, I look forward to seeing parts 2 and 3.

Dragonheart ... cause my kid likes dinosaurs and I'm running out of ideas.

This movie doesnt hold up too well.
Quaid had some pretty bad moments ..

The Dragon looked great and Thewlis was solid as usual.

I didnt really like Connery doing the voice of the dragon either ...

Dragonheart is luike the Dungeons and Dragons movie: A really disappointing flop that has gone great lengths to murder fantasy as a medium in film.

Lord of the Rings was a wonderful shot in the arm, and maybe some more good fantasy movies may be made, but its unlikely.

i'm interested to see what they do with The Chronicles of Narnia
Like Dune, the first book starts off simply - but they get pretty funky as they go ..

Shit, im just hoping they get off their asses and make a decent movie of American McGee's Alice. There is so much potential for a great dark fantasy there...

They will probably let paul Anderson or Uwe Boll take a whopping shit on it, making it into a shallow, retarded plotless action movie....
