This film had all the aesthetics that I love, masks, rape, masturbation, hospital tubing, vomit and it was filmed beautifully of course. <3 I almost took a screen shot of this one girls mask but I didn't. It would be great avatar and signature material. This had my full attention. I was afraid to look away because I would miss something, it was that constant. Definitely deserves multiply watches to absorb what is shown on your screen..AND I fucking knew it was some of James Bell's FX. He has this certain style that screams his name. <3

See! This is what I love about you...you're such a girly girl. ::love::::wink::

Hey DBaD, is "hospital tubing" traditional hospital tubing outside the hospital? Or I guess I'm just wondering, what is hospital tubing?

Saw 6...
So I've continued through my rewatch of the entire series...been watching one of these every few days I guess.

My take so far
1
2
4 Edges in over 5 here, largely on account of the jigsaw back story.
5
3&6 Tie for bottom place.

At this point the "twists" and revisits/alternate take add-ons are just getting annoying.
These movies are watchable, but really the only sequel in the latter half to really rise above the one before it was 4.
I'm not disappointed, I didn't go in with super high expectations. Yknow. They're "ok".
Damn site better than say, hellraiser sequels after 3.

Interesting, Cheebs. Yeah, I was impressed with the original Saw, thought it was a good horror thriller. Saw 2 already seemed "mechanical" to me.

Dead Bad Things 01-31-2018 06:29 PM

Saw M.N. Shyamalan's Split...I like this one best of all his flicks.

Excellent performance by the lead James McAvoy! Doesn't touch 6 Sense for me though.

THE ROOM 2003

A very strange movie about a love triangle between a man, his fiance and his best friend.
I had heard this was considered to be one of those "so bad, it's good" movies. Not so. It was appalling. Not really sure what Wiseau was going for here.

Gerald's Game (2017)
7/10

"While trying to spice up their marriage in their remote lake house, Jessie must fight to survive when her husband dies unexpectedly, leaving her handcuffed to their bed frame."

Pretty interesting, fairly entertaining, well made. I didn't really get why we were seeing the "side story" of the "bone collector guy" at the end of the film (or anywhere). I did not think that plot line meshed well with the main plot of the story and her personal past issue. And then diving into 'the bone guy' at the end just came off really weird and disjointed to me.

HAPPY HELL NIGHT 1992

A hazing results in the release of a patient in an asylum responsible for the murder of 8 students years previously.

I thought this was pretty awesome.
