All the SIX losing contestants have been set free inside The Zone.

Hunters - Despare and Rayne - please note that The Predator still lurks somewhere inside The Zone, which is ably marked into two sectors - A & B. PM me your choice of sector alongwith your choice of targets.

FAILURE TO CHOOSE A SECTOR WILL MEAN BOTH OF YOU WILL BE BLASTED ONCE BY THE PREDATOR'S PLASMA BEAM!!

(Yes I got that right, shooting a fellow Hunter has been ENABLED since last Round)



FAILURE TO FIRE EVEN A SINGLE GRENADE LAUNCHER WILL MEAN BOTH OF YOU WILL BE SHOT TWENTY TIMES BY THE SNIPERS IN THE WATCHTOWERS!!

CHALLENGE #17 - THE REWARD CHAMBER


I welcome the WINNER - Despare - into the Reward Chamber.

The reward you have won is fairly simple - you have 2 envelopes in front of you, marked 0 & 1.

You may choose one envelope for yourself, and the contents will be yours for keeps.

Be warned though, one of the envelopes might be EMPTY! In that case, you win nothing.

Freak and Return are two easy targets, and two definate kills. I wonder if they will make it out alive.

I'm wouldn't be suprised.I did crappy on this challenge.I've only seen two of those movies.

Let's see what happened in The Zone...

Oh boy! Fresh blood!

ROUND 17 - THE HDC BATTLE ROYALE HUNTING SEASON


The gates are thrown open and the losing contestants walk back in, very silent. 4 of them have plenty of HP patches all over their body, which is evidence that they were made the targets.

Rewinding the timeline clock to earlier in the day...


- Hunter Despare went into the Reward Chamber before starting his hunting, and picked Envelope 0. It had a slip of paper inside which said "5 HPs and a shotgun with 10 shells". His HP count stands boosted by 5, and he gets a deadly weapon!


- Hunter Rayne walks into The Zone meanwhile, and looks around. She spots The Return in the distance and lets two grenades fly in his direction.

BLAM!

BLAM!


Both grenades explode almost simultaneously and The Return is thrown into the air, far away from the spot he was standing on. His whole body is covered with numerous wounds and cuts by the time he hits the ground heavily. Return turns around with amazing strength and reaches for his 10 HPs, and slowly applies them to himself. But his wounds are plenty, and his HPs are few. He falls on his back, sighing heavily...bleeding profusely from the head, nose, shoulders, chest, hands and back. Seconds later...he stops breathing.

THE RETURN IS DEAD!!!



Rayne then walks forward into a large group of trees, and spots Disease hiding behind one of those. She aims and presses the trigger.

BLAM!

Disease hears the launcher firing, but he doesnt have enough time to duck. He does have a huge pack of HPs though, and picks up 7 of those to heal himself. He is FIT after a while, with 31 HPs left with him.


The three grenade explosions, however, attract a different kind of audience. The Predator watches Rayne shoot Disease, silently standing above a tree. It zooms into Rayne's back by it's triangular laser-guided beams, and fires it's plasma cannon.

THWUMP!!

Rayne has a slight premonition, before the blast catches her totally off-guard. She is thrown forward, her entire back and chest area exploding into a huge wave of flesh and blood. She coughs up blood and shivers uncontrollably. Trying desperately to save herself, she takes her 11 HPs out in a vain bid to heal herself. The HPs slow down the bleeding, but the immense blinding pain makes Rayne realise...she won't be able to survive.

A few minutes later, she looks at the sky with a sigh, and with a final choking cough...closes her eyes in eternal peace.


RAYNE IS DEAD!!!



Let's see what Despare did...

RIP Rayne.

You will be missed.

- Hunter Despare walks into The Zone, and looks at the footprints on the ground. He immediately recognises one set of those, and breaks into a slow jog in the direction where they are headed. Soon, he spots Freak in the distance and presses the trigger of his Launcher twice.

BLAM!

BLAM!


Freak hears the explosion, but by the time his brains think of anything, the grenades explode on him. He is thrown forward into the ground, deep gashes and wounds opening up his body like a red christmas tree. He takes his HPs out and silently heals himself, cursing the shooter. After 14 used HPs, he is FIT again, with 06 remaining.


Despare walks on ahead, purposefully. He knows another important target is ahead, and finds him. Zero has climbed up his favorite tree and was sitting on the highest branches. But unfortunately for him, his red complexion cannot be easily hidden. Despare spots the fleshy red part on top of the tree, and fires!

BLAM!

Zero is thrown from the tree, away into the bushes. He quickly heals himself and mutters some cranky ape-cuss word to Despare. He is FIT again, although left with 30 HPs.

Despare chuckles, and walks forward, throwing the empty grenade launcher away and taking his shotgun out. He spots Zero healing himself under the sun, and starts shooting rapidly.

BLAM! BLAM! BLAM!...

10 shells thump into Zero's primate body, breaking open his flesh into huge, gaping wounds which bleed like torrents. Zero grabs more HPs in desperation and, fighting back the huge pain, applies the HPs to himself. By the time he is FIT yet again, he is left with 20 HPs.


Four targets got their azzes whooped, and we have 1 DEAD Hunter. I will let you all recuperate through the night, before posting the newest Challenge tomorrow morning.

I'm not kissing anyone's ass- I like Rayne- she's nice, funny, fun and down to earth. I thought she would make it farther in the game and was sorry to see her life in the game ended. She also has a lot of knowledge about horror movies, and what she doesn't know she knows how to find out. I look forward to going up against her in the Undead game.

Why you would think anyone here would waste time "kissing ass" is beyond me. There's nothing to gain from it. I suppose I can see how someone of little intelligence and an inability to relate to people in a sincere. non-judgemental manner might see things that way. What a small & pitiful world that kind of person must live in.

I'm not saying that describes you, of course. I would never do that. It's just something I can see as a possibility.

Sorry about that...I knew that I was going to die because I needed ONE more HP to survive the Predator, so as my luck goes, it had to happen...I tried like hell to be the first person in the last 3 times so I could get a bonus (a few extra HPs) to stay alive...I just wasn't fast enough

Anyway...I had to take someone with me on my way out...You were the only one I could take :)
