The sequels sucked. Only the original is worth a peek.
I finished watching Matrix Reloaded and M:Revolutions last nite. For all the critical bashing it has got on the Net, M:Revolutions IMO is a fitting finale to the trilogy. It couldnt have been made any better. All questions are answered at the end. And we see Neo and Trinity die (ergo no chance of Matrix 4, or if it IS made, then it will be without those 2 characters).
I have a suggestion for all people who are over-critical of M:Revolutions. Think of the Matrix series as one movie, divided into 3 parts. You will forget to distinguish between all 3 of em. M:Reloaded might have the edge when it comes to kickass fight sequences, but the original & M:Revolutions both are masterpieces in themselves.
Its like eating a big cake. The first helping is the tastiest, cuz you taste and eat it for the very first time. You keep eating it, and the taste blends into your tongue and mouth, keeping you satisfied. And when its finished, you feel you could have had more. |
