The hunting ended about 50 minutes ago...let's see what happened in The Zone.

RESULTS OF ROUND 16 OF HDC BATTLE ROYALE HUNTING SEASON


The gates are thrown open and the two Hunters, and the Hunted, trod back in silently...tired, weary from running, and one of them patched up with plenty of HPs.

Two Hunters I said? Let's rewind the timeline and see what happened in The Zone :

- Hunter Despare ran into the Zone and soon overtook Urgeok who was looking for a good place to hide. Despare aimed and fired his grenade.

BAM!

Urgeok had no chance to avoid the full impact, and even as his body flew backwards, Despare started shooting. 5 sharp bullets of lead pierced through Urgeok's already bleeding body as he landed heavily. He hastily got his HPs out and started to apply to himself. By the time Despare reached over to where Urgeok lay, Urge was fit, although bleeding and sore.

Despare took his shotgun out, and shot him five times all over again. Urgeok tried to crawl away, but couldnt escape the shots. He started applying his HPs again, and by the time he was fit, he had 19 HPs left with him.


- Hunter Rayne looked on as Despare made Urgeok a bloody pulp. She waited till Despare was done, and then started to sneak forward. She came within shooting range of Urgeok, locked up her grenade launcher, and fired.

BAM!

Urgeok had no idea about the grenade. It exploded right before him and he flew backwards, with dirt and grime and blades of grass. His body opened up numerous wounds everywhere, which started to feel sore and bleed profusely. He fell down heavily, and with an extreme effort, took his HPs out to heal himself. By the time he felt Fit again, he had 12 HPs left.

Rayne rapidly strode forward and shot him 5 times in rapid succession. Fortunately, Urgeok had enough to withstand the brutal attack again. 5 used HPs later, he was fit, although sore, battered and bruised, and bleeding.


- Hunter Dude Guadalupe sat silently, listening to the explosions and the gunfire. He knew the others were going as per the plan, and felt satisfied. As soon as the second set of firing stopped, he stood up and started to walk.

Soon he came over to where Urgeok lay, breathing heavily. Urgeok had his eyes closed and never knew when Dude fired his grenade at him.

BAM!

Urgeok felt helpless as his body flailed through the air, careening into a tree and falling forwards heavily. His bleeding wounds became more deeper as he bled in crimson rivers. With a superhuman effort, he took out his remaining HPs and healed himself.

Dude then walked forward silently. He pointed the pulse rifle at Urge and shot him three times in rapid succession. Poor Urge! He had finished his HPs quota and could do nothing as three bullets opened up his body. He gasped and moaned, severely wounded, and threw his head back in severe, blinding pain.

Dude looked at him. Urge lifted his head and managed a weak smile at Dude. Then, Urge showed him the middle finger of his right hand with a grin. Dude took his six shooter out, and aimed at Urge's head, right between the eyes...and fired.


URGEOK IS DEAD!!!


Dude gave out a huge whoop of satisfaction, and looked around. He spotted Zero in a tree not far away, looking on. He smiled at the redhead, who felt alarms go off in his head. Zero jumped down and started running. Dude chased him swiftly, and pounded him with the remaining 2 bullets of the pulse rifle.

Zero didnt stop until he reached the opening of a cave. He quickly applied 2 HPs to himself just as Dude broke through the thickets and took his six-shooters out. He shot Zero NINE times in rapid succession and Zero fell forwards into the darkness of the cave by the impact of the shots. He started to take his HPs out to heal himself, when he had a very odd and queer feeling.

He was not alone in the cave.

A pair of bright, dazzling eyes shone through the darkness and disappeared.

Dude peered into the cave, wondering just how much damage he had done to Zero. He then started to check his six-shooters for any bullets, but both the guns' chambers were empty. Dude was so engrossed in his happiness at killing Urgeok and getting Zero, that he forgot one vital and important thing.

The triangle of red dots aimed directly at his chest.

He looked ahead once more, just as the plasma beam came hurtling through the darkness of the cave and blasted his chest open, flesh flying everywhere like graffiti. Dude knew he was in trouble, and even his 11 HPs wont help him this time. He still applied himself with them, but the wound was too deep and he was bleeding very badly.

The Predator grunted once, and looked at Zero. It walked out of the cave, and swung into the trees.

By the time Zero came out of the cave, fully fit...Dude had closed his eyes from the blinding pain and excessive bleeding. He stopped breathing after a short while.

DUDE GUADALUPE IS DEAD!!!


I will let the rest of you recuperate the losses, and rest through the night.

The next Challenge comes up tomorrow morning.

I think I died pretty nicely, no wasted ammo, Urge is dead, and I shot Zero a couple times......not bad.

RIP Dude G....

11 times, to be exact.

Good thing you died, or the monkey would ve wanted revenge. :D

A pulse rifle, with 1 grenade and 10 bullets.

The other box had 10 HPs.

There are 160 points up for grabs in the above challenge. (each correct answer is worth double points)

The deadline for sending your entries ends on Friday, 16th May at Noon EST.
