Just picked up Dead Birds for $9.99.

Good movie. A little slow perhaps, but definatly worth it.

It's pretty good so far,damn that monster is ugly.

There's a certain part towards the middle-end that will scare that brewing shit right out of you.

Phalanx - I love 12 Monkeys - but then, I'm probably prejudiced as it was filmed in Philly and a friend of mine is in it - look for a "preacher man" standing in front of a fire doing his "sermon" and he says to Bruce Willis "You! You're one of us!" That's my friend Tom.

12 Monkeys is one of the only films that Ive turned off...didnt like it at all. Usually I'd watch it through to the end anyway, but I was putting off other things to watch it, so I just turned it off about 30 minutes in. Intened to give it a second chance, but I only rented it and it had to go back before I had time.

I'll probably give it another go pretty soon though...cant even really remember what I didnt like about it, plus this was like 2 years back.

If you give it another try, let me know what you think this time.

...and something pretty cool came in the mail today from Zip: Disc 1 of Avant Garde: Experimental Cinema of the 20's and 30's. Sounds pretty cool to me, going to start watching it pretty soon.
