I think both God of War games are a part of horror gaming, for the elements in gameplay and story. Like for example the Medusa head etc.
God of War II gets this one.

But that's just part of greek mythology that's bound to show up given the setting of the game, doesn't exactly make it horror. She's in Clash of the Titans too, would you call that a horror movie?
