Right now and am online for more than ten minutes for the first time in ages, having a beer, listening to the sounds of Call of Duty 4 in the background, and most importantly....just chillin out.

Because of all the men touching each other?

Roderick Usher 04-03-2008 05:56 PM

I'm getting ready to go to a press screening of THE RUINS

_____V_____ 04-03-2008 05:56 PM

Ok I tried but somehow I cant picture a monkey loving baseball...

...is it because of the batters? Maybe they are connected somehow...

Monkeys love jacking off, slinging poo, and you guessed it, baseball. :D

Aha...then it HAS something to do with the batters.

Maybe the way they "swing"...;)

The_Return 04-03-2008 06:40 PM

...half-assedly working on French homework that was due in February.

Yeah...I kind of haven't bothered to do anything, in any of my classes...all semester. I do my English work, but thats it. So the principal + one of the vice principals gave me an ultimatum yesterday - get everything caught up within a week, or get kicked out of any and all extra-curricular stuff (which are the only reason that I still even bother to go).

They went to all my teachers and made up a neat little package of all the stuff I have to get done, haha. Made a lot of progress last night...now I'm actually on track for enough credits to graduate, haha.

Fuck I hate school.

Actually quite good. There is a raw, unflinching air about it that is really effective and creepy. Best theatrical horror so far this year (not much of a compliment, I know) and absolutely worth seeing in the theaters because...

- it's not a remake!
- it's from a scary book and is pretty damned faithful
- self-surgery
- a fresh environment... Mayan ruins are awesome and it's about time they figure in a horror flick
- Jenna Malone, she's always great!

The Mothman 04-04-2008 01:36 PM

right now im watching Death Sentence. The first 2/3rds really pissed me off, but its picking up, and its finally starting to turn into a revenge flick. nothing gets my adrenaline pumping like a revenge movie.

John Goodman was the best part of that for me... he was nasty...

I'm cooking dinner, listening to Nirvana, about to have some red wine, I think it has breathed enough..

i thought it was great ...
it started out as a message film then completely got lost in sensasionalism-exploitation.

gotta love a movie that doesnt understand it's own convictions :)

"Perfect Drug" came on the radio this afternoon (last song I heard before leaving work no less - talk about a good sign!) and I thought of you, my dear Dante.

Right now I am watching that abysmal show Survivorman with the boyfriend. I think I might call it a night for HDC and watch a horror movie pretty soon.
