Scary Movie was cheesy, and a good flick to watch.

But nothing can beat Ju-On. An awesome, awesome movie.

Yes. I thought it was awful, and it takes a lot for me to say that about the movie.

(Newb Here) I wanna get in on the voting. Not reading back through the past 17 pages, but I see we're still on round one at least.

Ju-On also, even though it's clearly already won.

bwind22 06-09-2006 06:15 AM

Ju-on dominates Scary Movie and Boo 8-0-0! Our first total shutout!

It got rave reviews in Russia a few months back (Daywatch did too) and I've been anxious for it ever since.

Yes both movies are really good. A change from the stereo-typed stuff we ve been getting lately from Hollywood. The cinematography of both is really superb, added by some really nice direction.

bwind22 06-09-2006 08:55 AM

Tale of 2 Sisters leads Nightwatch 4-3. Running Scared is getting goose-egged.

I have a feeling I would have voted for it from what everyone else has said about it. I just don't feel right voting for movies I haven't seen though. Therefore, To2S got my vote. I'm stoked as hell to see Kairo, though.

Running Scared was never ment to be scary.

It was a superior film to these two I believe. It had a real gritty style and great acting.

This gets MY pick.

bwind22 06-11-2006 11:33 AM

Tale of 2 Sisters edges out Nightwatch 8-7! Running Scared wrangles 1 to avoid the shutout.

(I just watched Running Scared last night & no. It wasn't really horror. Here's what happened. Originally, I had Eye See You in the tournament without realizing it wasnt horror. So when I got to that movie and pulled the poster and saw it was a Stallone action movie, I wanted to replace it so I just looked at what had just come out recently that I may have overlooked. Having never seen Running Scared yet, I didnt realize it was not horror. My bad, but it lost so it shouldn't be an issue any more anyways.)
