WOW did you just see that high snap ??? Bengals were kicking field goal high snap and they didnt get nothing out of it !!! Steelers BALL !!!!!!
|
Carson Palmer's out 'til next year so the Bengals Super Bowl hopes are gone.
|
21-17 steelers take the lead !

Once again don't see how people take one game(in this case only one half) of exceptional play and project it into future success. |
Please tell me someone just seen that amazing play !

Game over, bye bye Bengals
|

somebody woke up the steelers. I was on lunch so I actually got to watch a bit of the game instead of watching the live stats online. 31-17
|
HOLY SHIT!
i think i guest had a heartattck |
Quote:
They were never asleep, when Kitna came in for Palmer they got a different offense than they were ready for, after they made their adjustments that was it. |

Well, I have to say it... what a shitty lot of Wild Card games. A shutout, a fuckin' Patriots win, a "defensive showdown", and a game won by injuries.
Blaugh. |

You didn't think the Steelers had a shot with Palmer in? |
Quote:
I think with Palmer in, stronger arm, more familiar with the offense, Bengals win. Hell, even the play he got injured on was completed. |
Quote:
I guess you're right but I was kinda torn then once he got hurt I didn't think they had much of a chance. |
Dam I missed the Steelers game, I thought it was on 8pm. I seen the Giants getting there ass kicked today. That game was qick shit. :D Taking nothing away from Denver but it still might be again Colts & Patriots for AFC, If they make it. Which I think the pats will there #1 on rusg defense I think. The pass still has problems, but they did to well angiest the jags WR's. they where bigger and taller than the pats cb's. The steelers where lucky that the Cinni- was sleep later on. They better not do that when they face the colts. The patriots has to strike qick and not drop or miss passes plus dillion has to start getting some yards in. The Patriots & Broncos are on Sat (I think)

I usually don't follow hockey, but i'm gonna have to go with the Pats all the way again. [ i live in New England....i have NO choice ]

Random entry....
Just saw that the Titans have the 3rd pick in the draft so now I'm convinced.....Bush,Leinart,Young. -Even if the Texans trade out to the Jets Bush will go first. Curtis Martin injured his leg and had season ending surgery not to mention he's not getting any younger. -The Saints have cut ties to inconsistent Aaron Brooks and what's more consistent than leading a 34 game winning streak on one of the best offenses in the history of college football. -McNair has finally reached the point where he just can't finish a season but will probably return for another and who better for him to mentor into his place than...well...him. A year on the bench behind a veteran QB with playoff expierence and an MVP under his belt could only help Young's unlimited potential. To finish off the top 5... -Jets lost Kareem McKenzie to free agency and their passing game went to hell so they'll go with D‘Brickashaw Ferguson who'll take care of the left side for the next decade. -Tamba Hali or Mario Williams could go at 5 to the Packers, their young secondary suffered this year mainly do to lack of a decent pass rush. Imo opinion it's a toss up between the two. |
What's your picks for this weekend?
I got the.. 'Hawks Bears Patriots Colts I'm only actually going for the Bears. |
Seahawks
Broncos Bears Colts Home teams 'cross the board. |
Quote:
Hope you're right except for the Colts, I don't have a problem with 'em but the Broncos can't beat 'em. On the other hand if they get the Steelers at home they'll probably win the Super Bowl. |
Quote:
Cancel that, Broncos already beat the Pats. I'm going with the Broncos. |
Quote:
...VERY excited to see it though. This is a great divisional round this year, good matchups. |
Sorry guys.....Pats all the way.
like i said.....i have NO choice. |
Quote:
Trust me. I mean, I had to be a Bears fan for all those years. |
Quote:
I didn't think about the injuries and when you add on the experience level of the two teams it almost throws all favor to the Pats. I'm still going with the Broncos though, I think as long as Jake,Williams and Fox(don't remember his full name) don't spaz under playoff pressure they'll be fine. Plummer has playoff experience and he beat the mid 90s Cowboys with a far less talented team so I think he'll be cool. |
Quote:
Quite your whinnin', I'm from New Orleans. @Newb- gotta go with the home team, just glad you're not one of those bandwagon jumpers. |
THIS IS WHO I GOT
SEA-9.5 DEN-3 PIT+9 CAR+3 WITH AN ACCENT ON PITT/SEA.....IM COMFIEST WITH THOSE 2 |
People are picking the Steelers but not that many as certainly not as confidently.
Why so sure? The layoff? Last time they played Bob Sanders practically single handedly stopped their running game, if he does the same the result will be the same. |
Quote:
In regards to Pit, the only way they can win is if they hold on to the ball. And I don't think they're gonna get to... Colts defense is too quick. |
THE WAY I SEE IT....INDY HASN'T PLAYED TO WIN SINCE THEY LOST TO SAN DIEGO 28 DAYS AGO....AT LEAST THATS THE LAST TIME THEIR BIG STARTERS PLAYED MORE THAN A QUARTER, YOU COULD SAY THAT MEANS THEY'RE RESTED BUT IF YOU LOOK THEY WERE COLD, AND BARELY BEAT JAX/CLE BOTH @ HOME THE FIRST COUPLE WEEKS (WHICH IS AS RESTED AND HEALTHY AS A TEAM CAN BE)OF THE SEASON....WHAT IM SAYIN' IS I THINK THERE'LL BE RUST....IM GUESSIN THEY WIN BUT NOT BY MORE THAN 9.
