Hey and did you know that emeralds can be more expensive than diamonds. My sister-iin-law has the bling bling engagement ring. Huge emerald with NICE diamonds on the side. You could get an orgasm just looking at it.

Agreed...I'd much rather have a simple ring and a small wedding...Then I would use all of the money that would have been wasted (in my opinion) on something bigger, for more important things...Downpayment on a house, or just getting things that will be needed...

that ring pictured was 2 carats, platinum. that is $20,000... which is a bit much for me (HA!). im gladly ssettle for the 1 1/4 carat, platinum, which is $10,000.

for me, if a guy wanted to get me $1000 enagement ring. i am not impresed. thats not to say i want him to buy me the 1 1.4 and end up in debt either. i want a man that can manage his shit, get the car, get the house, take care of the kids AND get the ring on top of it
