you will want to get something by Bruce MacDonald. He's a Canadian director who has done several movies you'd really like.

Hugh Dillon (another guest) starred in his Hard Core Logo - great movie.
He is also in a very cool Toronto band called The Headstones

try to find some of their music online ..

look for a song called 'Smile and Wave'

I'll check out The Headstones & Roadkill has been in my Netflix queue for a while now.

so having no income i sorta can't go anymore. are those offsite deals available if you don't have a wristband for the convention or whatever? cause i would take a bus to TO and just go to one of those.

I might consider the Fri/Sat night events if you're into it - by sunday night i'm pretty bagged though - and just want to get home.

too bad because that one would be cool to attend.

I don't know if we'll be heading home before Sunday's or not. I'd like to make it but we'd either have to drive home afterwards or find a motel because we booked for two nights not three.


Hey Miss, how'd you get a refund on your hotel room and tickets?

It was just a like a holding fee for the room, you get it back if you don't want it anymore. Luckily I hadn't bought my ticket yet when I found out I wouldn't be going. Next year I am going for sure, hopefully I won't get fired and be forced by osap to not get another job.
