Bacause they're uncreative and smudge/scratch easier.

Now that's not to say that I won't buy one just because of it...I have plenty in my collection. But I'm not as proud of the DVDs in my collection that open up to a very smudgy blank disc.

i think Kevin Smith is more than just a little too smug and slick than his faux self depricating humor wants to lead us to believe ..
but i still think he's highly entertaining..

A lot of his stuff is funny as hell, but i think he has become more than a little in love with his own legend.

He made a bit of a stink a while ago when Clerks 2 came out. He apparently was on a radio show out of boston (Toucher and Rich on wbcn 104.1 for you new englanders) which didnt go that great. He then lied about what transpired on the Opie and Anthony show.

The problem is, o&a airs on WBCN in the boston area, and Toucher and Rich are fans. So they called him out on it and he blew up. came off as a real douchebag.

yeahhh .. well, as always i never pay attention to what happens off screen ... i just dig what he's done - and i do enjoy his commentaries.

i watched the 3 episodes he did on Degrassi - next generation the other day ..
