A Nightmare on Elm Street Infinifilm

I had forgotten how much i enjoyed A Nightmare on Elm Street until i picked up the new remastered Infinifilm version. Not only as good as the film has ever looked, but also a ton of extras!

The movie itself contains less comedy than even i remember, and i like that, Freddy's roots and all. i still think the "tina in a Bodybag" scenes and the blood shooting up out of the bed hood up really well.

My favourite extra on the disc, and why i recommend it for huge fans of the film, is a look at the making of the movie from beginning to end, with actor and staff interviews. It tells everything you could ever want to know and more, in a manageable length.

Now obviously I'm a big fan of the series, but has anyone else picked this up? What's your take on the content and watching the film that started it all again?

I very, very rarely bother to watch special features, so I took advantage of this release in a different way. Because of this fancy new SE, the original DVD got a crazy price cut...finally got around to grabbing that, plus the first 2 sequels.
