It's a matter of opinion I guess, but I would say even an unsteady democracy is better than a tyrannical dictatorship.

Hmm... I'm sure you've heard the saying 'If guns are outlawed, then only outlaws will have guns.' I'm not a huge gun nut or anything but it seems to make sense. I dont have any problem with the guy that wants an AK-47 and doesn't intend to harm anyone with it. I do have a problem with some thug using one to shoot up a bank or something. But stricted gun control would not take the thugs guns off the streets because they aren't registered anyways. It would essentially only take away the average citizens right to have equal weaponry as the next guy. I actually think that everyone should own a pistol or two, just for your own protection. You never know when some cracked out asshole is gonna kick in your door to rob you or rape your girl or kid or whatever. Everyone has a right to be able to protect their family in my opinion. Now does that mean, everyone should run out and buy an AK? No. But if there's a chance (Whether they are legal or not) that said crackhead could have one, then it only seems fair that the innocent, law abiding citizen should be able to also.

That was just to illustrate his lack of loyalty to ANYONE, even his own children.....To point out that while he may be an enemy to someone at some time, he can change that as he sees fit, if it's in HIS best interest...

No argument there...But, where the media is concerned, I truly believe that the government's hands are tied...If something is NOT reported, the media tries to portray that as 'hiding something' with the inclusion that 'the people have a right to know'...And while I agree that 'the people have a right to know', the entire fucking world does NOT, not where it concerns our security...If it puts us at risk, I say 'the people' just have to fucking wait until it's done, and THEN hear about it
