na, you must be thinking of another house. Check out the beginning of the film, you'll see that house just after the title credits, surounded by trees n stuff.... Michael is creeping around outside

lol the surrounding landscape has changed, since the film was made all those years ago in 1978. I guess the house has had a lick of paint or two since then aswell.

My first thought was 'that house is damn small' :)
