Resident Evil Afterlife

Plenty of time to watch movies when one is bedridden.

2 excellent Spanish thrillers to start off:

Followed by 2 equally adept contemporary sci-fi films:

Topping it all off with all 33 episodes of my recent favourite TV series:

All recommended.

Loved both of those Spanish thrillers. Have you seen The Invisible Guest? from the director of El Cuerpor aka The Body. Not as good as Cuerpo/Body and kinda predictable but a pretty intense who/how done it thriller, you'll like it too. As far I know, I think La cara oculta aka The Hidden Face got an Indian remake in the MURDER franchise...have you seen that? :D

From those Sci-fi duo, only seen Kill Switch.
Read a few bad reviews about The Recall at IMDB and thought I'd skip it. But as you recommended, now I'll have to check it out.

Btw. are there only 3 seasons of Hemlock Grove?

Haven't heard anything good about it so far, didn't surprise me though as from the very beginning I thought they wasted the project by given the directorial job to Adam Wingard..not a very fan of his works, only liked his The Guest so far and at the same time this makes me worried as he's going to direct Godzilla Vs. Kong for Legendary!::roll eyes::::shocked::::confused::

Cottage Country (2013)

Tried to be lighthearted & dark at the same times, ended up confused with its own terms as it seems they didn't sure what kind of horror comedy they wanted it to be.

Eat Locals (2017)

In a quiet countryside farmhouse, Britain's vampires gather for their once-every-fifty-years meeting. Others will be joining them too; Sebastian Crockett, an unwitting Essex boy who thinks he's on a promise with sexy cougar Vanessa; and a detachment of Special Forces vampire killers who have bitten off more than they can chew.
This is certainly going to be a night to remember...and for some of them it will be their last.

A mediocre fun vampire comedy, surprised to find Carlie Daredevil Cox as one of the vampires and he played the most decent one!

Wingard is hit or miss for me..more miss. I too love The Guest but also adore Pop Skull and Homesick.
